Berto in 2009 TT form would have spanked everyone.

Is his 2009 form really worth bringing up? What relevance does it have in 2014? Especially considering his holiday in 2012.

strange but people often dont take such arguments there. why does forum work badly? forumers prayed for froome's failure and doubly mad now or so?

I bet you haven't read the discussion before the race. People were saying Contador would never beat Froome in a TT, because he's not a specialist.

Froome the terrible bike handler wins the most technical prologue in years

Totally believable. I'll be in the next subforum over if anyone needs me

You're cluless yet another cyling fan who links style together with other things.

Not a bad ITT for Berto. It's expected that Froome win ITT. At least it's not like he decimates the field. Nibali shows some spark. He must have been under tremendous pressure to perform. Good luck for him. On the other hand, great ride by the youngster Jungels.

nothing happened for intrigue in the tour although. i just hoped alberto will extract more from his technical advantage on second part of tt

Is there anyone betting that the forum will freeze during this race?

i have a very bad feeling that i dont want to go to c***c during this TdF.

Congrats, Mr Froome for the prologue win. looked very relaxed and comfortable. didnt loose time at all even though he overshot a corner.

Its a pleasure to watch Contador fight it out. Hopefully, this race will not be predictable as usual.

Oh well, five of my predicted top ten finished in the top ten, anyway. And except for my dark horse Peraud they all finished in the top twenty-two.

Michael Kwiatkowski | Omega Pharma - Quick-Step | 20th at +16"
Christopher Froome | Team Sky | 1st with 13'13"
Alberto Contador | Tinkoff - Saxo | 2nd at +8"
Wilco Kelderman | Belkin-Pro Cycling Team | 5th at +11"
Geraint Thomas | Team Sky | 16th at +14"
Tejay van Garderen | BMC Racing Team | 9th at +13"
Sylvain Chavanel | IAM Cycling | 19th at +16"
Vincenzo Nibali | Astana Pro Team | 8th at +13"
Daryl Impey | Orica GreenEdge | 22nd at +17"
Jean-Christopher Peraud | AG2R La Mondiale | 62nd at +39"

I said that ninety seconds would cover the top ten, and I was right! :D (Ninety seconds covered the top 156, ahem.)

Very impressed with Nibali, Froome, Contador, Jungels, and Talansky. And how about young Matthias Brandle from IAM Cycling? I should have looked at him more closely, he's put up some good TT results recently.

Looking forward to the rest of the race!

I can see it happening tomorrow. Let's wait and see:p

Well, if it froze today for these measly 8 sec, imagine tomorrow when it will be well over one minute.
