Contador limiting his losses to single-digit seconds would be a great result on this stage.

What interests me about this Dauphine, is whether we'll see signs of an "understanding" between Contador and Nibali, if you get my drift....;)

Kwiatek is my pick for the win. With Thomas, Chavanel, Froome, Vorobyev, Barta, Navardauskas, Westra, Contador, Nibali to top 10.

The issue is that you were wrong besides an 10 km itt is way different than a 30k or longer one.

obvious

but it is even more different when it comes to flat or hilly ITT ( in the second case berto can defeat froome and take advantage, instead in first case he can only defend independently by the length of ITT or prologue).

we'll see tomorrow

Chavanel for the win, AC to lose four seconds to CF.
i agree.
this is more believable.
I'm not sure how good Kwia feels.

I dont think the top-5 are going to be more than 15 secs apart.

I pick Vorobyev as my dark horse. Rode already a good TT in Bayern Rundfahrt, and showed in the past he can cope with these shorter TT's as well.

I really hope his knee problems are behind him

Nah, only if he stops utrning that huge gear his knees won't suffer anymore. He's like the new Ignatiev.

It seems you haven't watched the giro of 2011 correctly haven't you? Maybe forgot an ITT? And what about the tour of 2011?

Contador was still a beast in ITT in 2011.

that was against a field with no froome

There's quite a nice little bump in the middle of the TT.

Pfff, these julyfanboys are not really getting any smarter.

hm. why are you so convinced you are smarter than me? your example worked good 3 years ago and this has no direct connection to reality which we have today. imho this would be a good result for alberto to lose to cf. nothing personal

Welcome to the CN Forum! Just remember the basic rule:

If you disagree with someone, don't use logical argument to counter anything they've said, just accuse them of being a 'fanboy'.

Does anybody have starting times for tomorrow?

I've been looking for these myself. I haven't even seen any indication that the teams and riders have them yet, though surely they do. Nothing on ASO's websites that I can find so far.
