It was actually 32.7 kph. Hopefully they can hold this speed until 1450 CET when the cameras go live!

MV, read above i said - 15-25 seconds at most. are you saying anything different ?
No, I was agreeing and reaffirming.
With an 8km ITT, you don't want riders taking minutes on a climb.;)

Means we'll get 55-60kms worth!:)

It's a MTF.
If we're lucky we'll get 10km's of racing, looking at the profile it will prolly be 4,5 km of action =/

Euskatel has control of the peloton and the breakaway's lead has been cut from 4:35 to 2:55 in a few kilometers.

All the feeds we can find up on teamskyfans
all the fr feeds look like they will work, and the eurosport 1 link looks like it should be good quality.
Select the race on the homepage then click the tv icon to the top right for coverage.

Average speed is 31.1 kph. These kids are either fighting a headwind or they are on a training ride. :D

EDIT: Though I am unclear why they are closing the gap on the two breakaway riders. Seems a bit early with two 10KM climbs to come.

Turns out there is a headwind and crosswinds. We may not get much of a showdown on L'Opspedale. Methinks Ventoux 2009.

how's it going? does anyone know how many km's they have left?

78 KM to go, two in the breakaway, about 1:20 ahead of the peloton. They are approaching the first long climb of the day, just in time for the television coverage.

The weather report says a wind of 28kph from the West, which means they were riding into it for the first hour or so, and across it for the second hour or so. It'll be behind them once they turn inland at about the second mountain (oh, they're there already). Possible near headwind on the final climb?
