Krebs your food photos poke holes in my men-socks-sandals theory. If I am down at the beach and I see some guy with socks on I will say hi. I used to ride to border park..take my bike down to the beach fence and walk into Mexico and ride up the road(1?) then south for about 30 min get a snack and ride home. For people that don't know some of the best Gran Fondo rides happen in Baja California. The best carne asada happens after you rode 100 miles and to wash it down w a shot or 2 and cold beer is what Mexican bike rides are all about

I should write something down:eek:
But most days I walk in the kitchen with no idea of what I will be cooking.
I'll have a couple of shots of tequila and start scrounging for ingredients.
I have thought of streaming on the internet. What could be more fun than watching me get poo-poo faced and cook. I did move here with intentions of writing a cookbook. Anything you see that you would like to try just let me know and I will get some kind of info or recipe for you.

you could do a video blog on youtube. you take pics anyway. like a 5 minute
thing or whatever you feel is right. even facebook and/or myspace would work
for that sort of thing. really all of them work well together, imo. the pics are
always killer and just add your video persona, and voila Chef Krebs is on the
air.

No krebs-esque photos, but my dinner just consisted of Roast beef, carrots, broccoli, and peas. Win.

Try sauteing apricot, grapes and cranberries with some chopped onion with your pork chops. Oh, man.

Maybe I should ask Susan to start a CN cookbook up and the proceeds could go to paying better moderators who do their job better! :D

an agg sandwich

I left my camera in the restaurant and one of my waitresses took a pic of this egg sandwich. Not on the menu, one of the cooks makes things like this for her and her boyfriend who are vegitarians. Bread is grilled on a flat top with parmesan, then the omlette like eggs are layered with what you see, probably a salad dressing and a bit of grated P cheese. bon appetite

I like to think we serve food reather than cusine. Beers are listed across the top, desserts at the bottom. one has the bourbon porter in it.
