Theres no need to argue that Kristoff is the most ridiculous thing since Bradley-Froome duo in 2012 TdF and Gilbert 2011.

Seems Rodriguez is also flying very high

Especially Kristoff, you can't be so dominant and keep within passport limits so obviously he has protection.

Did Katusha bough the Free Doping Ticket 2015 ?

Should we expect grandpa Purito to school Quintana/Froome/Contador/Nibali in the tour?

Well, if you think about Ulrich Jan, i see no reason why Kristoff could not win Tdf with this "form" :D

seems like your theory might have taken a hit

Its not over till its over though. And we know that may be never with UCI. They may try to spin it as recreational use, because we all know the peloton in cleans. Or it could be dragged out forever till Paolini is resady to retire, which should be soon. Nobody, well almost nobody, uses PED's anymore.
This will be very interesting. Especially in the wake of Kreuziger fiasco.

Giampaolo Caruso (ITA / Katusha) tests positive for EPO.

seems the house of cards is coming down

2nd Katusha positive this year

edit : sample is from 2012 so meh...

seems that new testing methods lead to retesting. i guess Katusha is shitting pants right now, especially Kristoff and Zakarin lol.

Well i know 99% of the people here are only interested in doping by Sky, but the 1% remaining might be interested.

The drug, Meldonium is new to WADA this year, Vorganov didn't get the memo. One can only imagine how many riders were using the stuff.

Big shock.

UCI ADR 4.1 says 'Unless provided otherwise in the Prohibited List or a revision, the Prohibited List and
revisions shall go into effect three months after publication of the Prohibited List by WADA

without requiring any further action by the UCI.'

The List was published at the end of September so if this positive was two weeks earlier then he'd get away with it.

I'm not biased and I don't care about SKY. Its the system.

For me it is very simple, if you have the budget, you will never get caught unless you stupid or you make a mistake.

Last few years, it has been clear that only the small fish gets fried and therefore, I mostly ignore all topics in this section.

So why do we have well populated threads condemning riders such as Contador (multiple), Hesjedal, Valverde, Katusha, Cannondale/Vaughters, Porte, Colombians, Kittel etc?

Well, better let the admins know they can save on storage charges and just delete them all

Or you annoy someone.

Dwyatt, that response was in regards to the size of the name, not team or nationality. If it was Rodriguez, Kristoff, Spilak or Van Den Broek for example, it would be totally different (and refreshing). Drop the persecution complex or you're going to have a bad time. Read the title of the thread and get a gauge of the popular opinion outside of the Sky threads.

Katusha have had 8 positives. Kind of makes you wonder how this team is still competing? But then they are probably helping with the purchase of many off shore properties........

There is no way that the UCI will kick out the russians. If they ban a team they will certainly allow the same people back in the sport via a new team or simply upgrade one of existing ones.

When the 2011 Ferrari investigation broke, Katusha was the biggest party involved with nine riders no less.
Ferrari was basically their team doc.

And how is Mikhaelov still allowed to work for Katusha, or to be anywhere near any procyclist for that matter? Uncle Brian always ready to provide an answer:
"I think if we’re 100 percent honest about it, I don’t think we could run men’s pro road racing without some people who at some stage in their career had some contact with doping,”

And thats probably true.. What they dont mention is Igor Makarov, director and CEO of the holding company behind Katusha, is also on the board of directors in UCI.

A practical decision from the UCI. Until WADA bans certain substances 365 days a year Instead on a competition day then this issue will continue to happen.

The UCI have bailed Katusha out. There is no grey area around in competition substances or out of competition substances. Paolini has gone positive for a performance enhancing substance during a competition. The fact that it is coke and not EPO is irrelevant, Coke is as much of a performance enhancer at times as any other product.
