I regret you are correct. The current peloton, teams, sponsors and the ASO ("we just organize we don't test" attitude) are just not committed to transparency and McQuaid/UCI continues to live in Wonderland about the state of the sport.
Cycling as a true clean athletic endeavour is dead! While the riders/teams/managers bear primary responsibility for this mess, the UCI has been a hapless, leaderless and useless organization.
There is not a true fan in the world who doesn't have doubts about every race be it a grand tour or a one day classic, whether they want to admit it or not.
I don't even pay attention to the GC anymore. Who cares! There is absolutely no credibility in pro cycling.
