Ingebritsen is definitely on the sauce. He beat the two mile record by 4 seconds. Komen’s record in the 2 mile and 3000m are one of the best distance track records of all time. Look at the names that are on the list of top 25 names for that 2000m. Ridiculous.
Norway seems to have a quality state run program between him, their triathletes and their winter sports stars.

Tobi Amusan in the women's 100mH must be discussed. For context, when 2022 began she had a PB of 12.49s. Through the course of the season she had shaved off 0.08 and came into the World Champs with a PB of 12.41s. She ran the PB in Paris on the 18th of June.

In the 3 runs in Eugene she went 12.40s (heat), 12.12s (semi) and 12.06s (final). Her semifinal run smashed the previous world record (it was previously 12.20s). The final run was faster but the wind-reading was +2.5m/s, and therefore the time did not count.

So either she's on some serious dope to make such a massive quantum leap in performance in the space of a month, or the wind-meter was faulty in the 12.12s run (it was apparently +0.9m/s).

Update.

She's just been charged for missing three doping tests!

Still over 7 seconds behind Roger Bannister nearly 70 years ago in 1954!

Do we really need any more evidence of Brits being doped to the gills?

We all know Brits don't dope because the moral excellence of their leaders trickles down superior moral values to the population.

This will never cease to be my favorite take on doping.

This is big: Issam Asinga - 100m WR holder under 20 (9.89) tests positive for the metabolic modulator GW1516:

Ran HS track in Georgia. Also holds the under 20 American record for the 200m (19.97). Qualified for the World Championships in Budapest. Accepted a full-ride scholarship to run track at Texas A&M.

Lol, that's stuff for weekend warriors who can't affort Aicar. He's either really stupid or it's one of the rare times that someone actually messed up by using shady supplements.
Anyway, it's the USADA, so an under 1 year slap on the wrist ban for tainted supplements is almost a lock.

Asinga stated that he tested negative in separate tests June 11 and July 28 surrounding his positive test from July 18.
Asinga indicated his B sample from July 18 will be tested before the world championships start Aug. 19.
Asinga could be cleared if his B sample is negative.

Gw1516 is also detectable for weeks, so a top level athlete still using it in the 2020s would really surprise me.
I can see some highschool athlete trying to get away with using that one or Sarms, but not at that level

Yep...here's a study from 2012 showing GW1516 is detectable in urine up to 40 days after a single oral dose of 15mg!

If Asinga's B sample comes back positive - this might be a legitimate tainted supplement case (whey protein, creatine, BCAAs, etc). What doper in his right mind would take an oral compound with a glow time of over a month? Lol.

A lot of "fat burners" and endurance enhancing compounds are spiked with GW1516 apparently. Especially Sr9009 and Sr9011 .

I guess you could also say “what athlete in their right mind would take supplements without knowing what’s in them, especially given that they know they might be contaminated?. I’m just really tired of the supplements excuse. They’re not required to take them. Obviously if they couldn’t claim supplements they would claim tainted food (steak, burrito, etc), but it doesn’t seem as easy to get a result thrown out as with supplements. And usually they have to be a little creative with their stories when they claim tainted food,

Sounds ironic, but the 'stadium' was probably cleaner when russians were allowed to compete. Qualification times alone are already worrisome

So Kemi Adekoya, back from a four year doping ban, seems to be going full Pourseyedi - she has been back from her ban for a few months but has not been seen internationally at all, has run ONE 400m hurdles since her ban, at the Arab Games, and then drops her PB by 0,7 seconds twice across two races to make the final easily. Commentary is giving her the Taoufik Makhloufi treatment, only he hadn't actually got banned to receive those hints.

Swiss commentator was pretty much, yeah, we want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but when you come back from a 4 year ban just to smash your PRs over and over again it becomes really difficult for us to prentend that it isn't fishy.

The british guy beat the 36 year old European record in the 400m in the semi-finals while jogging the last 30m

The brits have taken doping to a new level. In any sport where the british are president, you know the british will cheat as much as they're not ashamed of. And they've got a very thick skin.

Something went wrong with the special british cocktail before the final. In the semi-final he ran 44.26 while jogging 30m, while in the final it was like he hit the wall at 30m. But even the fact that he came second is ridiculous.

I wondered at the time that because she quickly made an admission and didn’t appeal, that perhaps THC wasn’t the only PED that turned up in that blood test.
Who would be willing to cover for her though? I know Nike was totally behind her and even made a commercial hyping her up, but then she totally blew it...

She is a very polarizing person/athlete though, I'll give her that.
