Cav wins. Viviani 2nd. Lobato 3rd. Swift 4th. Guardini 5th .... Degenkolb 9th.

Outstanding leadout by Etixx. Result inevitable with more than 1km to go.

True, but Degenkolb has only participated in one sprint in which he didn't get it right. I'd back Degenkolb vs Viviani and Guardini any day of the week.

Told you, Degen doesn't seem to have the upper speed so far.

It looks like he worked a lot on his climbing this off season.

He is thinking about Milan San Remo.....Degenkolb vs Kristoff will be amazing

If you have a Ladbrokes UK account the betting is still open. Cav available at $1.73 to win the stage. Seems a decent price to me.

Ratto got 6th place so should not be him

It was Reijnen.

Forster came with Zurlo and Reijnen in his wheel a bit before 1K to go, Forster went to the front to set a high pace, Zurlo dropped Reijnen off at Cav his wheel, and Ratto and Bazzana were a little further back.
At the end Reijnen faded and Ratto came from behind to finish 6th

His placing today didn't seem to have much to with his top speed to do, though.

Great leadout and a nice sprint from Cav, pleased he got the GC. Viviani and Lobato were quite impressive too but Cav already had the gap.

I just love how this thread never got stickied, while Etoile de Bess?ges did. CN still has its heart in the right place it seems. ;)

Sky's train seemed to derail just before and under the bridge. Impressive speed again by Viviani to nearly catch up
