Lobato started the sprint somewhere down in 8-10th position, 70 m down. He was flying.

Not normal. He always starts the sprints from way back. This time his acceleration in the last 150 m was unreal. If he started the sprint in the position of Valverde he would have won by 2 sec over Degenkolb.

Degenkolb leads Cav by 4 seconds I believe. Watching it again the time gap from 7s group to 10s group seemed a little questionable.

I'm sure he would have. Look where he comes from and with what speed.

I'm sorry, Lobato wasn't anywhere in the screen. Like 80 m back in 20th position. In the position of Valverde he would have won by 2 sec over Degenkolb, he had double the power of anyone. Positioning is a big problem.

Not based on this. The climb was so short - and they more or less soft-pedalled until the last 300m - that it was basically a long sprint.
