I don't care what he does in the rest of the race, with his build beating purito and froome on that hill is suspicious as ****.
Hes pretty much the same build as Froome.

Not really

Yes really.
Even if Dumo is built similar to Froome, that doesn't really help. It's the clinic you're posting in.
I already told you he's 6'0 and 165 lbs. He's one of the best time trial specialists. He's pretty fresh. He's a talented guy, the Vuelta is known for surprise acts.

Too many things too mention.

you know this how? Wikipedia says 6'1" 157lbs. Pro cycling stats says even less (69kg == 152lbs).
I said: I met him several times and say 6'0 and 165 lbs. Now you confront me with wiki who says 6'1 and 157 lbs.

If anything, you should congratulate me (not that wiki is always a reliable source though).

I'm 6'2'' myself and he was at least 2 inches smaller. I didnt have my scale with me, sorry, but apparently was pretty close.

I'm a hockey fan, and in hockey size and weight matters, so I have some expierence with this.
right, so you just eye-balled him. You can get within 10lbs apparently but that's not accurate enough for the purposes of the clinic. 10lbs is the difference between 10th and 1st in a GT.
You are making a way bigger problem of this, than it actually is.

Point was, that some see Dumoulin as a 6'2 80+ kilogram rider, which he isnt is.

Of course every gram counts, but just stop with this nonsense. Its even more ridiculous, you use wiki as source and to me you say "you just eye balled him". Give credit where credit is due.

He got asked directly about doping by itv4 commentator.

Dumoulin couldn't look him in the eye.

After every good performance, a new topic is started or bumped.

Laughable.

You know what else is laughable? A heavy TT specialist dropping Purito and a doped alien on double figure gradients

Nevermind him, he's Dutch.
This is the nonsense I really start to dislike. That's probably the 3rd time the last 3 weeks. If I would not list that I am from Holland, I wouldnt hear this. Its lame and weak.

Who knows Dumoulin is on the juice. That's not exactly my problem. The problem I have is what I already said.

Some of you remind me of Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show. Cant enjoy a good performance. Everybody sucks and is doped.
For the record I don't believe for a second that you are actually Dutch btw.
Thanks for the compliment.

I'm going on a late summer vacation from this place. Haven't been here in a bit, watched the stage yesterday, and didn't think twice about it.

I'm going back to watching out for exciting racing, not liking dudes who are ugly riders (Froome) or totally unlikable (Vino), and forgetting about all the doping. Back to the bliss...

Last year I saw Dumoulin bonking on Col de l'Ospedale after a few kms, same time as Romain Sicard, while wearing the yellow jersey at criterium international. Now he is killing Froome and Purito at nearly 7W/kg on 11' in ridiculous fashion so Tommy-D deserves his thread in the same way Froome got 1000+ pages on the clinic.
Then 2 dutch guys start protesting with cut/paste arguments from Sky fans to defend a guy who learned the job at Rabo CT and had adequate climbing skills to win a Tour of Belgium one day. "
What dont you understand?""He trained harder""He never tried to climb fast before""it's not too fast; it's just a great perf""tailwind"
Nice one. Very Clinical ;-)

Yeah, losing more than 2 minutes to Matthias Frank, couple months later he comes in 20 seconds after Frank on Verbier in the Tour de Suisse finishing 5th in GC. See I can cherry pick too.

Tommy always could climb ;-)

This is a pretty ironic post, Dutch guy defending Dumuolin with the argument "he always could climb" and talking about nationalism.

Hello Tyr, and welcome to the Internet.

You look kinda new to the Internet, so I would like to take the time to point out the winky emoticon ;-) obvious at the end of Fearless' post. A quick google shows us the following description of this ubiquitous text meaning modifier:

Description: This popular winking emoticon is often used after a friendly or sarcastic statement.

In this instance, I can assure you that Fearless is being sarcastic.

There's a lot to see and do in Internet land, and I trust as you get to know it, you will come to appreciate the richness and diversity of its content.

Good day.

We will know about Dumoulin tomorrow. If he defies physics. And can climb with the big guns. Then we can debate it. I have a feeling he will be dropped like a stone.
