What the hell does this mean?

Niko Eeckhout, two-time winner and favorite again, just ends up in the grass verge after a fall back in the peloton. Hij kon zonder veel erg weer naar het peloton toerijden. He could not very far back into the peloton toerijden.

Tommeke showing his cards too early? What does he have to gain by hitting the front at this point in the race? He always seems to do this and it kind of confuses me I have to say. If he wants to string out the bunch why doesn't he send a team-mate up there?

Well, I spoke too soon. He has managed to push off the front with Breschel, Boom and Leukmans. They have an awful long way to stay away for though, and I expect Sky and Lotto will be chasing hard.

He is using as training...stretching his legs and letting competition know what they have to deal with...nothing more.

Other teams will chase Boonen, who probably would be fine with a teammate winning today. I'm glad he always does this.

The Vshare stream is back up for me, and smoother than Justin.tv.

Flurries of attacks but no-one has managed to get away yet, a Saxo and a Cofidis having a go right now.

I'm watching at the office so I am on mute anyway!

A fairly sizeable group has managed to get clear, 20 or 25 riders with a lot of teams represented. Columbia have two guys, as do Milram, I see a Saxo and a Sky but no Quick-Step. If they co-operate this could be the move.
