Highly doubt it, EBH was on his wheel and Roelandts would've had to do a very long sprint. Cossack could have beaten him though.

Sad finish for Jurgen Roelandts. But on the upside, he has a nice backside. ;)

Well that was my 2 cents of intellectual contribution. :)

I agree. He is pretty quick and had a gap cause he really took a risk on that corner, which is probably why the tube came off.

Ebh good win .

Deserved? Sky made this race quite boring(good tactic of course) and 2 fast people crashed in front of him.
They fell because of their bike handling skills, not because of bad luck.

You do what you have to in order to win

And after all - he won the final stage.

I wanted Phil to win too .... But credit where it's due EBH was the strongest rider this tour

Ok, didn't see that, but they still went too fast through the corner. Sorry about that.

EBH wins the stage, the GC, all jerseys and sky wins the team gc too. He will be kissing a lot of podiumgirls today.

That's what happens when you push the gear beyond it's limitations. Poor bike handling indeed.

A terrible edition of a mediocre race.
One, half decent stage and the rest was insomnia medication.

Yeah what a Craptacular course. The potential for this race has always been far greater then the result. Disappointing

Seemed like a race where a lot of riders had relatively tired legs the whole way through.

They should make Tour of Belgium World Tour instead and change the date till right after the Giro. Even flat stages are interesting there.

That's because it's not world tour :p

More chance for echelons on the roads they usually use there :p

I think there was only one stage without echelons forming this year lol. Probably one of the best stage races this season I've seen so far.

I like the race result for Hagen and Millar but yes not the best. All uphill finishes means Gilbert wins so maybe it was good so who knows.

The Prologue was a waste of time and maybe a longer ITT next time.

Good thing that EBH has decided not to ride ToB anyway, which originally was the plan. Would have been too much ahead of worlds. Looking forward to seeing him get 2nd behind Gilbert in GP Ouest-France, Quebec and Montreal :)

The tyre was flat going through the corner. He rolled it off the rim. Don't know what was up with Katusha rider? I hope Phinney didn't hit that knee again on the barrier.

Best man wins: Eddie!

and congrats to Gilbert and Millar.

If he didn't fall Galimzyanov would have won probably :(

It was his own fault, he went through that corner too fast. If he didn't go through that fast, he wouldn't have fallen, but he might have not been positioned as good... Anyway, "woulda, coulda, shoulda"...
