Because he's their best sprinter by far and also could need the bonus seconds to be able to win overall.

EBH is riding for the GC...so a nice 4 sec bonus. But I think Henderson is a bit faster when in form.

Yeah it makes sense for ebh to be main sprinter for gc, also hills tomorrow MAY whittle down the peloton

It could matter, but in the end of the day Greipel is a better sprinter. EBH need luck to win a flat sprint against the best.

For the 2nd time in a week Sky get a lead out right. In the end though, Greipel was too good again.

People need to remeber that EBH is an inexperienced rider. He'll learn from mistakes but generally is quick. 4 seconds is a nice bonus for him on GC.

Unless you're a rose tinted spectacled Sky hater (which there are many on here) I don't think you can criticise them today. They worked hard to bring the group back then organised themselves for a good leadout. As in Vettenfall last week, there was someone too good on the day.

It is pretty common to give a meter or so to the leadout man, because it gives you room to accelerate in the slipstream.

Tomorrow a nice stage... pretty classic... Cobblestones, Hills, Crosswinds and Narrow roads... Tomorrow will be a selection after the hills though... a bunch sprint is not pretty likely...
