I would also add M.Inglinsky from Katusha too.......
Now that you said it, he could be a good candidate for the win today.

If he'd actually competed.

And Astana (that's the team he's in) has Iglinsky in it's roster for Eneco, but that's his younger brother.

that doesn't even make any sense, as almost everyone from iceland originally came from norway :p

Well, we're talking recent generations here. Boasson Hagen has grandparents from Iceland or something like that.

I would put my money on Enrico Gasparotto today. (if I had something) :)

Yeah

I backed Gaspa and Devolder.

An ideal situation - peloton breaks up big time, the selection is made and Gaspa is still in the break and has something left when they catch them. Must be why Greipel is in the break - hoping something like that happens so they can have a chance to be with the guys near the final two climbs.

my prediction is for an extra entertaining stage today!

Thats the whole problem I have. :D
Sitting in my BIBs here and I am very undecided, because the weather is really brilliant today. Nearly an absolut exception in the last "summer"weeks.
But I will wait, watch it and than go out for a ride later.

Stage with Oude Kwaremont is a must.

Gaspa is already in today's breakaway, so he is probably out of contention for the win unless a miracle happens.

Gap crumbling very quickly, An odd move by Greiple, he's risking getting caught and spat out the back.

Dangerous group of five getting away here, EBH plus two rabos, an HTC (Tony Martin?) and a Skil.

Indecision in the bunch, Rabo and Sky blocking the chase.

Final starting nicely!

First group: EBH, Boom, Martin, Moerenhout and Geschke
2nd group: Devolder and others.

Turf 40 secs behind.

I am swapping between working and watching, I missed seeing how EBH got unhooked from the lead group.

Martin and Boom (?) are up the road, chased by a Liquigas, and then a peloton which I am assuming contains EBH. Not really sure
