And the peloton back together to 100 man...

Why not skip all the hills, and put them in the last 30km, instead of doing all the hills, and then keep the last 30km flat

They admitted after the stage yesterday what they will be hoping for a TT miracle.
SKY pulled on Doodeman yesterday, Rabo saw Martin could easily follow and that was it for them.
Today nobody will let Koos ride, so it should come from a guy like Boom, but don't expect anything.

That's basically what they said.
I'm usually all for the "go and try" option, but I really can't see any alternative that makes sense, considering the road left ahead of them.

You're not going to wish away Tony Martin, and you won't get Moerenhout into anything meaningful that won't trigger a response from the obvious ones. So blow up Moerenhout for the hell of it?

Sometimes hoping for the long odds is actually putting your money on the best odds you have.

Or just shake hands on the result around a table and head straight for a warm pub. To hell with all this windy outdoor nonsense.

Props to the Gorilla for working his *** off for Tony Martin at this race, especially since he's out the door come season's end.

Who is Rabo team DS? Verhoeven? Never thought he'd be a coward. At Rabo CT he always took risks.

Now they already thought him how to tell the riders to ride as boring ****s for a second place

Bunching and indecision from the lead group, perfect time to slip away.

Speak of the devil, off go Devolder and MACHO MACHO MACHADO

60 riders retuned...

Now 4 leaders with Devolder, who was dropped on every hill, suddenly recovered and attacked

Indeed. I can't imagine Cavendish doing that...

Ok. I can tell you how the rest goes.
One of the first 4 riders wins. 90% chance it being Devolder.
Machado will go to 3rd place GC since he's close in GC.

Boom tried a few times, after the Mur de Huy. And Tjallingii tried on the Mur de Whatever, but he exploded almost immediately.

Now he rides at the front of the bunch, after getting bottles.
Big thank to Tony Martin for supporting him (in past and for future in the worlds). Give and take principle.

Uh, Gerdemann in the big picture. Didn´t even notice that he is in that race. :D

The bunch ought to bring this back, and we'll get to see which sprinters have made the selection. EBH might well get his stage today.

I've got a feeling EBH might go for it from 1 to 2k out. The profile suggests there's a little uphill drag before the finish. If Henderson is in the Peloton then he might as well go for it and have Henderson or Sutton as a 2nd option.
