Well he's not going to fight his teammates is he? It's a ridiculous situation for Jumbo to find themselves in.

From my chair here I saw Rog play the perfect teammate, i.e. letting Mas & Ayuso do all the pulls & surfing wheels the whole time. And it was 'only' 33 seconds. Even after a sh*t load of playing games behind Vingegaard.
It was only 33 seconds because vingegaard is not in his best shape, and benefited from the draft.

Who needs to grav every single opportunity in the tour 2024?

"grab every single opportunity at the TdF 2024"

And the answer is Roglič, of course. Time is getting short & it would be a real shame if he's denied the chance to win because of some team orders.

Still want him to win but if I can't get salty at GC Kuss.

I can get a bit salty after Granon 2022 (aka the 'suicide mission'). I won't reopen that particular chapter but even today I hope people can see how Rog played the role of teammate perfectly there on the Tourmalet & didn't drag anyone back to Vingo, or even Kuss after he went.

I just hope Kuss wins and not Vinge with another long attack where Kuss and Roglič are not allowed to follow or go on their own.

I think Vinge tried to take Kuss lead away today. But he cracked at the end and Kuss managed to get a lot closer. Vinge was clearly not happy at the end despite winning the stage. I don't like JV tried to put Vinge on top today. No one should attack it's team mate like that. Roglič was not allowed to even try. And this is the blueprint for any race with both leaders. Work for Vinge unless he falls of the bike. No thanks.

With all due respect for roglic, he will not be a leader in the tour, if he continues in this team. It's impossible with vingegaard. Vingegaard is in another level in terms of grand tours, and he is a two time tour france champion.

Sepp kuss came to the vuelta with leadership with roglic and vingegaard. In the tour, he is a domestique.
No he didn't. Do you even watch cycling? Kuss was a domestique (always). It's because he was domestique, he was let go by other teams in a breakaway and got his advantage. There was no chance Roglič or Vinge would be let go in a breakaway.

Well Kuss did follow and more than once. He did that because it was allowed by the team. Just like it was for Rog if he could. Vinge followed the team plan, a plan that made perfect sense. Was it a harder choice for Rog to leave Kuss alone, than for Kuss to go, probably. Then again I didn't see any signs from Rog, that he had anything but his trademark sprint in him.

Clearly you missed what the team staff, roglic and vingegaard said before the vuelta. They said that Kuss was also going as a leader. Then, he benefited from a breakaway.

If JV just follows wheels and covers attacks for the remainder of the race (which will be boring) Kuss will win if he doesn't blow up one day, but there is a lot of racing still ahead. I could still see Vingo winning.
The 3GT Kuss has become kind of thing to joke about, as though he’s impervious to fatigue. But there probably should still be some question how he will fare in his 9th week of GT racing this year. Admitted, he pretty easily clawed back time on Vingegaard and looked much fresher at the finish.

Kuss was also on the limit, he just 8 s to ayuso and cian, and he benefited a lot from the draft.

Now read that again. It's clear they came with 2 captains but as usual anyone can win, even the best domestique (Kuss) if stars align. That's what they said. There was no Kuss as a third leader talk ever, except in joke. If it would and anyone would take Kuss seriosly, he wouldn't be let go in that breakaway.

Movistar, Soudal and Ineos (LOL) all chased it. UAE meanwhile had Soler innit.

Yeah, a "joke"....or they were really talking serious, like we can see now with Kuss in first.

Good outcome on stage 13. Now second in GC, rode smart by not attacking much and finished strong. What happens next is a bit more complicated. I don't feel that Rogla (or Jonas) will directly attack Kuss. And with Remco and Almeida out of GC battle it's hard to see a challenger that could challenge Kuss position. Still this is cycling and long way to go to the finsih of this GT. So i guess best to focus on performing good tomorrow and for the rest to unfold on its own.
