Is that whining, or just healthy ambition and wanting his team to meet that ambition? Apparently Bora haven't invested too much in his time trial, which is actually the quickest way to success because it's the most controllable part of cycling. I think it makes perfect sense for him to point that out.

Which other instances of him dissing his team have you found? It has to be quite serious if you call him a whiner. You mean the incident with Vlasov?
You are right, nothing to see here, except a 20 year old telling the press how a team should be run. That will teach those bosses to give a youngster what he wants. It's the only thing missing for him to win something. Like i said, it's one thing a veteran/proven champion says something, because he's not happy. It's completely different when a youngster starts pushing his agenda over the press. He's not happy with Bora equipment and setup, he's not happy with Vlasov, he's not happy with Roglič coming over...all that because he thinks he's one little thing away from winning GTs....hm.

Ah, so that's the problem: you're hurt because he's supposedly unhappy with the arrival of Roglic. Which is actually something he hasn't said anything at all about, AFAIK.

Really sketchy reporting. Full of known conditions for team success, imaginary potential subterfuge scenarios of existing team rider ambitions and conclusions about age, motivation, etc. It doesn't illuminate or even inform that much for anyone that knows cycling. I think I'm lucky that I don't see much Euro broadcast. IMO US analysis can be simplistic, jingoistic and labored at best. The reporter was solid on one opinion: JV Made Roglic's career.....
Not sure many would agree with that.

When I stumbled upon some videos from that channel, my alarm bells were ringing aswell and I stoped quickly, but what put me off the most, was the feeling as if this is some bot-generated content... I didn't make the effort to investigate further, I'm just staying away, but I really wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Or just AI editting. Journalism is not the same thing as reporting, which seems to be a race to get syllables out that might generate clicks=ads. It doesn't need to make sense but I like your take.

The Watts YT channel (the source of this video) lists Slovenia as its location.

One week before the ski stars open the Alpine Ski World Cup season in Sölden, the BORA - hansgrohe cycling professionals will end their season. The eagerly awaited first appearance of the famous newcomer Primoz Roglic is also expected at the team camp.

Apparently he's going for first preparation with Bora this week already at Solden in Austria. They usually have a team camp there in mid October

So apparently they started without him, or maybe he will show up later.
