I'm curious how does that feel (to a pro). Do they even care or they care way too much and start messing with every little detail.

Could be Rogla will need to sacrifice riding ToS in 2024, for the main goal of the season. Worlds also high on the list of temptations, for the 2024 season.

New Bora kit was introduced today. It's bad. Like really greeny bad. Roglič becomes ninja turtle with this one.

They probably did it so he'll hate it so much to capture any leader jersey as soon as possible and hold it until the finish. Marginal gains.
Yeah, roglic will remember in the last 500 m of every mountain finish at the Tour, that he needs to capture the leader jersey.

I think we can safely assume that Roglic will be like Froome was at Sky - it's all about the Tour. For Roglic's sake I hope that Bora don't get distracted by Cian leaving.
I did see Lamberts was going to Bora too

(An iroinc twist in that Cian is going to Visma, when Lamberts was suposed to be helping him)

Some of Rog's most iconic moments have been in green (or ninja turtle as well):

The thing about cycling jerseys we've learned over the years is there's a difference between how they look during a team presentation or anything off the bike versus how they look on the bike. The 2023 Bora jersey was quite elegant off the bike but once in the peloton it became just another way-too-dark smudge on the screen amongst the rest.

I think this new jersey will stand out. At least I hope (there's also a lighting factor as well which plays a role, i.e. sunlight versus overcast).

I regard to the Tour 2024. Here i feel that Cian staying or leaving doesn't play a big role to Bora. In my opinion he is a non factor in this regard. Rogla in the end is a bit of a nerd too, and demanding, still more mature version, with moustache. So Bora in my opinion won't get distracted if Cian leaves, regarding the Tour goals. It's Cian, that likely will be affected with the outcome much more. At Bora likely he would be pushed forward as Rogličes successor. In the next lets say three to five seasons. At Visma i don't see on why Jonas, Sepp or Wout, being at their career peak, would care if Cian ever supersedes them. Now when they finally got some room to pursue their own personal ambitions. Considering Roglič left and they are 15 wins per season short. It's the existing riders that want and got a taste of that. And they want it now. If Cian leaves then Bora will likely just sign or push forward another talented kid. Basically to apply strategy, for what was in place for Cian, with some other kid.

So another opposition out of the way now with Pog going to the Giro? Roglic vs Vingegaard at the Tour with Remco being the wildcard? Does anyone really believe that a fit, in-form Roglic can beat a fit, in-form Vingegaard? My wife is a huge Roglic fan but she wonders if the teams have some data that shows the double is less impossible than it was before. I think she's basing her idea on how well Sepp recovered from his 3 Grand Tours. She isn't as quick to rule Pog out if he tries the double as I am. Personally, I thing Vingegaard is just far and away the best in GTs but like my wife, I'll be pulling hard for Roglic if he makes it to Stage 21 with a chance to win it.

Pogi likely still doing the Tour.

Yes.

It's about motivation too. I feel that both Jonas and Pogi know it. That is it would be hard to beat such motivated Rogla. Pogi on top of that didn't win a GT in the past two season. He is highly motivated to win a GT again. That is on why a first double attempt. And it's Giro. In the end you simply want to win the Giro, at some point in your career, being a GC rider.

I doesn't matter if anyone believes. We just want to see him try at 100%.

He already tried at 100%. He failed to finish the job in the last TT, and fortunately it happened. Roglic is a disgrace for an offensive cycling that captivates more fans to this brilliant sport. It's would be so sad and boring to see a defensive rider like him, winning the tour. Fortunately pogacar won that Tour 2020, and we also have remco and vingegaard that are not afraid to attack from far.

The usual mindless tantrum of those that started watching cycling yesterday.

If you know so much about what makes fans stick to a rider - attacking and not offensive :tearsofjoy: cycling - how come Roglic is so popular among fans?
