Yesterday, they filmed him while peeing and his penis was clearly shown (they even showed it again in slowmotion). Was that because of all the controversy during the Winter Olympics with ski jumpers and penis enlargement medication, making his an item of increased scrutiny?

Dirty Rog.

The lore is becoming too much even for me.

I must be getting old.

I did.

I had just assumed camera's zooming in and director replaying it had to do with director being middled aged twitter mom which was Rogla's only fan demographic.
Hey, I dumped Twitter years ago and I resent being called middle-aged . . . I’m just old ;)

I'm a Roglic fan but I can't say I'm sorry I missed that.

Another angle here is the level of the peloton is just ridiculous. You know that stereotype where xyz rider says "I'm doing my best numbers ever but I'm getting dropped!"? People might take the *** out of those claims because of Froomey-ism over the years (aka washed riders saying they're not washed when they really are) but what if there's a grain of truth in that. It's really difficult to get the full power picture just from the sofa in front of the TV.

It means Rog goes to altitude, has numbers which he thinks are good, then arrives for a race and everything is just dialled up to the point it's suffocating and form that used to = fighting for wins a few years ago becomes 5th best now.

It would be demoralizing.

Depends on what numbers we're talking about, because the climbing numbers weren't high on the final climbs.

Also, even if it's the case, he went from winning Tirreno 3 years ago exclusively on bonus seconds, to now finish a whopping 1 minute 20 down. However bad we may think it is, in absolute numbers he's not that far off.

I honestly don't see any indication that this is the case. Neither power numbers nor assessment of context back that up. The leap seemed to happen across 2020-2024, with Roglic also participating in the increase in level. He has had many wins during that era. It doesn't seem reasonable to think that suddenly, in the span of a year, he brings numbers that he brought to 2025 Catalunya but the level has risen so suddenly that he can't hang. Even in the Tour, he had terrible prep and he was nearly good for a podium. You really believe that 2026 Pellizzari is just better than Roglic has ever been? Come on

Statistically fifth place is Rogličes best season opener since joining RBH and they were the top team in this race.

Tratnik likely to join Rogla at Vuelta.

As for TA i feel that Rogla mentoring Giulio is a sign of a true leader, especially considering Giulio is doing Giro and honestly this team needs some of that, true leadership, at least on when it comes to stage racing. Giulio had some issues with tendon, so team was hampered by that also but still did great. As for beating Isaac, Itzulia is on where their paths cross again. So ultimately RBH was the best team at TA, had one rider on podium and one finishing fifth. As long as they improve that at Itzulia it's fine. As for some roglification, maybe some day on where the team decides and supports it. Rogla was never a boring 80k solo rider in the first place, that was never his thing. For roglification much more finesse must be at play and of course team support too.

still waiting to see who makes up the field but this must be a chance of a win

This has to be a victory.
Definitely a chance of a win, but based on what we just saw in T-A, you'd think Pellizzari will go better here, plus Pidcock was likely in great form in SB, just had some mechanicals get in the way. Knowing very little about the field, I'd put Roglic as a dark horse and solid pick for the podium.
