What's there to be smart about? Milano Torino is a super atactical race.He raced well, Pellizzari another excellent showing, not sure about why one guy didn't sacrifice themself for the other. Pidcock is just a smart racer . Bora has some gas but the tactics have not been the best.
The only thing Roglic could've done is not make that boneheaded attack in the first climb.
Optimal tactics would've been nearly completly passive, with probably Pellizzari attacking hard and early on the final climb, and even then the most likely outcome is probably Pidcock winning anyway with Roglic just getting 2nd.
