People be acting as if Tratnik is Antonio Nibali.
Tratnik would have been a great signing for Jumbo whatever country he was from.

Bora wasn't WT in 2016 it makes no sense.Rog is signing for another team, not flying to another planet.
The Tratnik situation was mentioned last year after the first rumors of a Rog transfer (because Tratnik was going to Jumbo so people assumed Rog couldn't leave), but it was an irrelevant detail. It didn't matter then & it doesn't matter now.
Anyway I find this quite interesting:

Better late than never. Bora now gets the finished article, aka the complete package. A polished diamond who will win races for them.
No one is acting like that. It's just that most people assumed that Tratnik would join Rog. According to CN it was 'rumored' that he would.People be acting as if Tratnik is Antonio Nibali.

That's true about Bora. This has been known in Slovenia for some time and now I'm not really surprised that Primož chose them.Daniel Friebe has been right about everything in this saga so far, so I'll just have to take his word for it.
Rumour is he is signing a 6M (although I don't believe it'll be that much) per year contract and you say he'll be riding for a low budget team...hahahaStill can‘t believe that Roglic will join Bora. Although I like it very much.
But that would mean that Primoz spent his entire pro career at underdog low budget teams (Jumbo, Bora). I think he doesn’t ride for the money, he rides for pleasure.
Or he's not happy with those questions as he got a job in the team because of his big brother and not his own hard work. Expectations by anyone to follow Primož while he's still under the contract must be quite annoying.Tratnik not too happy with Rog's decision to leave the team

2024 TdF: Vinge and Pog (already TdF winners) will protect Rog (from a different team) to win final GC.

how does the merger of jumbo visma and quickstep, and the move of roglic to bora, affect the comeback of patrik sinkewitz?2024 TdF: Vinge and Pog (already TdF winners) will protect Rog (from a different team) to win final GC.
How are we ever going to compete with Remco’s thread post count if we just wait for the facts. I say we wildly speculate! 😁Best to wait till weekend and then at around mid October, to get the whole picture. For Rogla it's now rather important to win Il Lombardia. To get some closure in regards to this historical era of Primož Roglič and Jumbo Visma. As after there will be no more. Some new era will begin to be written. Anticipation of the very first win and beyond.
He was the original reason for Van Aert to even go to Jumbo. On a personal level he won't like that his trainer is leaving, but on the other hand: if anyone could use a change of approach, and a change of how he prepares for the big races, it's Van Aert.
Some people are for sure to follow Rogla to the new team. Will be interesting to see on who.
P.S. Fans likely transitioning too.
no transition for me: I'll be a new Roglic fan as from Jan 1st 2024![]()
Kuss is half Slovenian. Don't see a problem. In Slovenia there is an ongoing joke. What will all the dads (and moms) riding in JV jersey do now. As the surge of this phenomenon was big enough, to become a topic.
