I've just read from a Slovenian source, that Roglič will compete on both 1 day races next week even though he won't be 100% ready for them. Source of that information was Mr. Denk according to Slovenian web site.

It is stupid to race the ardennes then. Just go to Giro del Trentino, it is way less stressful and he can spin his legs a little bit without fear a crash.

Roglic at 90% can still win la fleche wallone and it would be great addition to his palmares

What would his opposition be at la Flèche? There doesn't seem to be a super deep field of puncheurs. Even if not fully recovered he could still take a stab at it.

He doesn't want to jeopardize his altitude camp next month in preparation for the Tour. So I think we'll have to wait until the Dauphiné before we see Rog in action again.

It's probably for the best.

I just don't like lack of racing days. He's very unsecure in peloton and lack of riding and working with his team can lead to many problems (crashing, not being on the right spot,..).

I think he has spent all his luck for this year already, if he did Flenche he would be taken out in the run in chaos to the Huy and break something, Tour gone. The way this season has robbed us so far my morale is low like that.

Definitely, if he isn't 100% healthy.
As much as I would like to see him stomp everyone in FW, that is the right decision. Tour is the only thing that matters this year.

I am anything but a supporter of Roglic, but I am convinced that of all the favorites, Roglic will be the best prepared for the Tour. Due to circumstances and his clever choice not to participate at the Ardennes. Vingegaard probably not participating at the Tour, or not in topshape. Evenepoel participating, but not in topshape. Pogacar (after the Giro), in shape but without physical freshness to perform three weeks at toplevel.

But I am not sure whether the fact that Roglic will be able to start the Tour best prepared will be enough to win.

If he start at last year's Vuelta level, he will win.

A new beginning starts in June, basically. There's a lot of objectives this summer (TdF, Vuelta, Worlds) so I can see Rog having a pretty heavy & backloaded season with a lot of racing from June through to October.

I think the main factor skipping races are not current injuries but possibility that Jonas will not race Tour or will not be 100% and Pogi will have Giro (with or without crashes) in legs. Roglič and team want to be 120% prepared and not risking new injuries. This year is once in a life time (career) chance to win Tour.

Ugh, altitude camps diluting monument fields, as with Van Aert and San Remo. However, in this case the injuries may play a part in decision.

That’d slowly wear him down for the final week. UAE might try, though with 4 leaders plus Pogacar doing the Giro they probably won’t want to burn everyone. Roglic and Bora would just have to control the race if UAE uses their leaders to their advantage with attacks everywhere. Trek/Hart, Carapaz/EFE, Ineos/Rodriguez, and Quickstep/Evenepoel could all cause problems as well if they’re in great shape.

At the very least it should be more of a free-for-all with some surprises. UAE would need to be aggressive if they take an early leadership role which would depend on Pogacar's recovery from the Giro.
IMO some teams with no realistic chance for the overall could upset a predictable Tour because they see an opportunity to take the jersey for awhile. Publicity is all good.

Why not do fleche man there is literally nobody to win it without him, we gonna get like skejmose vs Vlasov. Last 2 years he skipped spring races to focus on Le tour, it didn't go well
