Sure it was quite nerve-wracking watching the stage yesterday, but my conclusion is that Rog does not lack power but he is unwilling to go all out in a fight for position. Case in point; he never lost the wheel himself but he was always at the back of the group and when somebody in front loses the wheel that is it. When he needed to close the gap himself he was quite powerful. I would love to have seen what would have happened if Rog was on Pog's wheel during one of Pog's attacks.

I think Rog is experimenting with some new approaches in this year's Tour, like not crashing. It probably feels strange/unfamiliar ... but maybe it could have benefits in week 3?

Did you just read the headline? Because otherwise you would have known that she said that Primož's big wish was to compete in a road race.
Once he declined to do the ITT, it was quite likely for him to not be picked for road race. Had it been important for him to do it, he should have done the ITT too as he then would've had to be picked for the road race as well.

The course suits Moho and Pogi, and with so few doms in the race, Slovenia will have to pull a lot. With 5 spots or more nations with 4, perhaps Rogla would've been picked.

Honestly I do not care. The route is not suited to his abilities.

Anyhow the article was "payable" so only headline and short tekst was available and if somebody states that wants to experience the Olympic Games as a family, I would presume that this is their wish come true.

Experience the Olympics as a family = his sons can watch him race live.
Better read the whole interview, than spred misinformation.
