The Eddy Merckx Farm Frites bike.
Man, I loved that bike.

The Merckx Team SC was one of my favorite bikes too. If I didn't work and race for a Colnago dealer I would've been on one of these at the time.

I love the looks of this bike made by English Cycles, especially the gold paint.

Not actually a team bike though is it? It's one of those 5kg boutique jobs.

I think the design of the frame is not at all attractive...
The different size tubes makes it look unbalanced, and without any visual 'flow'.

And that huge erect seat post - you gotta wonder (a little) what that's about.

The bike might function just fine, but being attractive - no thanks.

And QuickStep's 2005 Time VXRS (just imagine it has Ambrosio Nemesis tubulars on it):

Also, one more vote for the Mapei C40! :p

I had the chance to buy one or more ex-QS Times in late 2006 for €1500 without wheels or €1750 with wheels. But as ever, I was skint at the time, so no go!

Other than that there's the Wordperfect Colnagos from the early 90's with Suntour Superbe, Fondriest's C40 & Gewiss's Ti De Rosas

I still hanker for a Lemond badged TVT though.

It has a large seat post because it is custom made, this is the makers bike made for him.

Allright, enough with the custom English bike, that wishbone seat stay is so thin I could use it as a tooth pick, not a team bike. Now, back to team bikes......

Simoni's Guerciotti Khaybar from the 09 Giro. Was a Guerciotti rep for 3 years, they are one of the finest riding machines, still.

I'm super jealous of the Colnago-CSF-Bardiani boys rides for 2012:

Needs less ugly wheels though. :p

IMHO, that bike and it's rider represent a highwater mark in the history of cycling. Legendary bike, infamous rider. Hard to beat a combo like that!

+2 fantastic bike and nearly all ali. Not sure what actual weight is but carbon doesnt beat it by much (cept for all the ridiculous stuff from Germany)

Since People seem to think Colnago's are the best looking bikes

Specifically Sven Nys's 2011-2012 race bike. (Can't find a picture of the landbouwkrediet team bike)

Only seen at a few races but Erik had this custom painted as it was not the typical Milram blue. It was a semi-retro paint job, the blue version of the Saroni paint scheme (I think).
