Still cheating. In cycling speech? Well, how you improve your chance of a game changer/decider by circa 75% (the rate of goals on penalty kicks)?
No doping in the world can do that for you...

And why is it so? Because of the old rules. When 9 goals were the average 100 years ago, a penalty kick didn´t change the outcome, but nowadays with 2-3 goals per game... simply get rid of that kind of penalty

.....

JUSTICE !!! ROBBEN :)

I like these Dutch jerseys.
Shades of violet and purple in the blue. Nice.

And I like the current score.

Cheats are supposed to be punished. Its like saying let Armstrong keep his titles because he knew how to manipulate the situation. No different to costa diving.

Not comparable. Or do you also think a (too) hard tackle is cheating?

Yes:D

This is like the 2008 Dutch team.

After first 2 games though, everytime I see a goal I wait for 30 seconds before actually being certain its given.

Good that they gave that NL goal on the jump ball. How many times do you see GKers complain of "5m infraction". It was a jump for the ball by the NL player, not his problem if the whining GK can´t jump higher with (!!!) extended hands. All they do is whining... Bah

Or waving hands if alledgedly offsides*... Bah, real men play to the whistle. Good goal by NL too.

Or passive/non passive offside. What a BS rule. If the GK can´t hold the ball (in this case the NL one), in every other game the opponent is allowed to shoot... but no, not in soccer.

Great game BTW. :) Love that spanish GK, makes the game high scoring, five and counting. I love it. That´s the way it should be. :)

(* They wouldn´t do that if they couldn´t influence the refs. The cheater genes are in them, from youth soccer on (waving hands, shaving time, diving, pretending injury).
Change da rulez and all this little things that summarize into one big mess would go away in a second.)

Diving is like tackles. You do what you can get away with. I also don't think it's cheating to 'punch' another player. It's sanctionable, but not cheating.

This is a legendary Match.

That is the worst performance by a defending Champion of all time I am sure.

Robben is still so fast, he might still be playing in 4 years. :D

Spaniards might not pass through to the eliminations even with six points from the two remaining matches.
Goal difference is killing them.
