Only fair to praise refs when necessary but that was a great advantage to play when Behrami was fouled.

Allright second half for the Swiss.

And Rodriguez!
Maybe the best LB in at the Tournament. Marvelous player.

Agree about Rodriguez. One of the best in the tournament.

Except for this Game against Jamaica, France don't have a good goals scoring record... I'd like to see some goals. But I could imagine a horrible, horrible 1:0 or something like that. Or maybe Honduras will pull a Costa Rica? ;)

Even without Ribery they've got a very solid team though...

That didn't stop them last time. ;)
But I am very sure that they will win and go through. I am just not so sure that the games won't be horrible to watch.

I thought so, shoulder charge right into the French guys back...dumb, he had only just had his first yellow card!

I'm not watching. Was the penalty legit?

It doesn´t matter. This most grotesque neanderthals rule literally is double punishment: A free goal (trou the penalty kick), and the opponent forced to play with 91% strength for the reminder of the game... and for what? A little check in the back inside the 16m box.
Can any foul really that bad?
I guess the ref loved to play god. Now he´s the whole half time to jerk off the climax he got off the red card and basically deciding the game single handedly.
Soccer is ridiculous with such rules....

Ref could have sent Palacios (and Pogba) off already before that though. Can't blame him for Palacios being dumb, but yeah, this sucks.

Palacios was incredibly stupid to make that challenge. A diffrent Ref might not sent him off though.

Oh now GoalControl has it's first real use! Hell, that was close! You couldn't tell really from the pictures.

More Pogba since he did the revenge foul, which is normally red. I don´t like red cards at all... but for consistency, the ref should have then sent off Pogba first, if he is so easy with giving game deciding cards.
