So Palacios was a fool really to do that stupid penalty ,but Pogba was deserving a red before plus that yellow at penalty for Palacios was a bit harsh.France would won this game anyway,so no need for the referee to make it easy for them.
Next Argentina-Bosnia maybe Edin Dzeko can upset the odds,i hope they get something from this game.

I read Guillem Balague's recent biography of him and he has done it quite a bit before.

Good summary... problem is goal difference could be a factor in final standings, thus this Ref had major influence. And you never know how underdogs go at even strength.
Examples Algeria 2-1 vs Germany 1982.
Example 10 vs 11 even when having the best players: Germany 0-3 vs Croatia AFAIR (red card in 14th !!! minute = no chance for no one)

Basically Red cards are a "you-lose-the-game" penalty. No foul justifies that.
Somewhere I have the stats: It was like 98% losing or tie max, for teams playing at uneven strength in world cups.

Well look at the players behind the offence, there is no flair, and especially in midfield, not big class either. At least not going forward (counting Mascherano as a classy DM).

It's hard to build up play with no players to do the build up. Talking of build up, Bosnia need a bit more directness. I hope they will find it.
