Tho after today I think Germany is the strongest team here even more.

This WC is wide open I don't think there is any team right now that can be labelled as the strongest.

It looks like it,one of the craziest editions at least from 1990 till now,in my opinion.
And next last chance for Dzeko to shine or pack his bags.

Nigeria: Enyeama - Ambrose, Yobo, Omeruo, Oshaniwa - Odemwingie, Onazi, Obi Mikel, Babatunde - Musa, Emenike.
Bosnia: Begovic - Mujdza, Sunjic, Spahic, Lulic - Besic, Pjanic - Hajrovic, Misimovic, Medunjanin - Dzeko

Dzeko vs. Enyeama, I'm hoping for a great battle :D

I don't get why when a goal is ruled out cos the referee can't see it crossing the line, there are years of outrage, but a goal is ruled out for offside wrongly, its a case of- should have been a goal, but isn't, so lets move on.

France are the most impressive team I have seen so far, as for Germany I sense a weakness definsively, I mean any team that can have Mertesacker as their centre half.

Though sometimes teams that start out strong end up nowhere, Denmark 1986 comes to mind with Olsen and the Laudrups, only to go out in the roundo of 16.

Italy's reliance on Balotelli is going to be their downfall. They should play a 4-5-1 without him.

Immobile should be the striker with Insigne and Cerci as Inside Forwards.

Like Uruguay's reliance on Suarez and Argentina's reliance on Messi. At this stage I doubt Argentina or Brazil will win the Cup. But I think it's very open. If ever the Dutch are going to win it this could be the year and probably should be the year.

Why?I mean Ghana is good opponent, but e.g. France or even Chile have the same chance imo, they played great matches;)

And teams of Italia,Brasil,Argentina,Nederland and even Uruguay are not at theri best yet,but WC is so long.

Ghana isn't that strong, they exposed the German defense for what it is: not great. Per Mertesacker... dear Lord, is there a slower football player on earth?

It doesn't really matter if their forward play really takes off, but last night it didn't and then they have to resort to grampa Klose to save the day.

feels like

I imagine this is because goals scored being overuled by unfair off side decision happens so regularly

+ poor decision as to whether the ball crossed the line not only happens less frequently has a greater air of drama

I should be saying 'boo hoo' england are out but after following world cup since 1970 i've seen it all before.........as expected england fell a little short
but not discraced

again switching allegiance to italia

i'm loving this 'open' world cup a completely unexpected winner would also be good

The Dutch, i don't think so...i support them every tournament but they choke most of the time just like SA in cricket. :p

Football fans at club level see the top teams have 0 weaknesses since they are so rich they just buy bpa at every position.

At International level however it is rare for teams to have no weaknesses.

So while Germany may have some small weakness at the back (though they also have perhaps the best gk) every team they face will have even worse weaknesses.

The Spanish used to be the same. I just feel it could be their time.

that would be weird, since this is by far the worst selection we had in 20 years (though Van Gaal couldn't possibly select any better, with Strootman being injured)
