It implies that it might be a mistake to choose the line-up based on things other than their skill on the pitch.

Whether that's the case with the swiss team, I have no idea and I don't care.

You think that Hitzfeld selects players because their grandparents are not Swiss, not because they are good players? :D:D

I was so wrong about this one,i was expecting a lot of goals from Argentina and in the end they were lucky to score one goal. This one could have been much worse for them with a little luck on the iranian side.

What a steaming pile of dung from one of the supposed favorites. As much as I love Messi, I was gutted for Iran, who more than deserved a point. Argies to go out next round, unless they either stop taking what they're on now, or get some good stuff. *this was an entirely humorous reference to their sleepwalking, no clinic reference intended*

Any update on whether jose mourinho has decided yet whether Iran's performance was strategic genius from a brilliant tactician playing to his sides strengths, or shameful parking of the bus from a team committed to destroying the game of football.

Germany: Neuer - Howedes, Hummels, Boateng, Mertesacker - Lahm, Khedira, Ozil, Kroos, Gotze - Muller.

Ghana: Dauda - Afful, Mensah, Boye, Asamoah - Rabiu, Muntari, Boateng -Atsu, A. Ayew, Gyan

Since panzerwagen was very good today in Swiss,i wait from the panzers to follow his exemple and show their might. Please, not another sucking performance argentinian style.

I guess temperature might be in Ghana's favour. 30 degrees in Fortaleza + humidity. Maybe Germany can tire.
