Middle of the half was pretty good, start and finish awkward, lots of small fouls. Colombia's defending is a bit bizarre, and Cuadrado I think has been very disappointing, indecisive at times and not at all like the player he's been so far in the tournament. And what the hell was up with that quick free kick James Rodríguez attempted while half his team were still arguing with the referee?

That said, Brazil's back four should probably all have yellow cards except Maicon and that would make for a much better game with the Colombians running at them.

Colombia seems very nervous, on the other hand Brazil has found the right spirit... incredible intensity!

Hoping for a spectacular second half.

How is Fernandino still on pitch:eek:

Such a frantic game, exciting to watch, but lacks quality, like kids football

I don't know if we've had 20 seconds of continuous play in this game without the ref blowing his whistle.

That is because they are trying to kick lumps out of each other

I liked the fact that the ref didn't start throwing with yellow cards early on, but ffs, 40+ fouls and 1 yellow??

34 fouls so far. So that's one every 100 seconds:rolleyes:

Edit: 35

Thats why we love South American football so much :p

p.s. Not sure if it's correct but most foals committed before the quarters belong to.... the Netherlands.

wow, what a strike. Beautiful.

Just what the match needed.

No, what it needed was the equaliser. ;)
Brazil basically only defend with fouls for the entire tournament now. It's a miracle only Silva will miss the Semi (so far).

20 minutes to go and David Luiz hoofs the ball to the Colombian goalie as a clearance. I've never seen a Brazilian team do something like this.

nah, Colombia seems useless. Better to get some quality action.

edit: the ref line seems ok to me

Though I cheer for Brazil, part of me thinks it would be embarassing if this Brazil squad wins a world cup- moreover the world cup.

Would any of this team make it to the 2002 Brazil team. I don't think even Neymar would get in. Maybe one of the centrebacks.
