Indeed, riding as a 'tourist' there is less chance of him getting tested than at TA...

aha, i see, he didn't go to TA in order to avoid testing,

you mean you believe that testing works and we can rely on testing to catch dopers ?

That was how I said "Hello" To Robin Williams in the train station in Nantes on the way back from the ITT penultimate stage of the 2003 TdF. He walked into the news kiosk completely unnoticed, as if no one seemed to recognise him (it had rained all day and we all looked line drowned rats). So I sidled up to him, pretending to be perusing the magazines, leant over (he's rather short) and whispered, "Nanoo nanoo." He looked up and smiled, as if expecting to see a familiar face, but seeing me instead, his expression changed to "WTF are you?" But we spoke briefly about the day's stage (Ullrich crashed; Pharmstrong clinched the tour) and I left him be.

Touche. This is why he rode so less and so undercover before the Tour last year.
And again I see here people who never rode a bike and I am 100% sure about that just judging by their comments. Last April I managed to get home, after I got an ugly knee pain with 65 k and 3 nasty hills to go. Guess what, I reduced the speed and it was just fine.

Ok, now I see how you got 900 pages here.

I forgot to say I am not a Sky fan, a Froome fan, a Michelle Cound fan a whateveryouwant fan, but some comments are stupid. But it's a forum, so it's ok, you just need a valid email address and a qwerty or 12345678 password and suddenly you have all the cycling secrets at your feet.

Your post is full of ***. That every cycle fan has to ride a bike. Bollix.

No one who follows sport is allowed to follow that sport unless they have competed, played, performed at some competitive level in the sport?

This premise is so weak.

That people see Sky being a dominant force in week long and GTs in a sport with a long history for doping and no changes to anti doping that would prevent teams from cheating points to one thing. No one needs to have thrown their leg over a bike to come to the conclusion that a guy who was hanging onto motorbikes and finishing in the grupetto suddenly podiums his next 3 GTs is doping.

Please show me where I said that.

And what this has to do with what I said? I said that Froome is clean? Never. It's one thing being logical and one thing eating ****. Oh, it's sunny today, that must be Froome doping. Look, it's raining. Damn Dawg and his xenon!

You're good. Good, good, goooood. I must be a doper myself. I just didn't knew all this years. You just opened my eyes. Thank you guys, let's hope Froome will read your full of substance lines here someday and he will have the same experience I had. Thanks again.

The forum has an ignore list feature, it's very useful :)

In all doping cases that I am aware of, the people who rode bikes sided in far greater percentages with the dopers who ended up being found guilty.

So I don't think thats as great an argument as you make out.
