Did froome say he had a chest infection. Cos chest infection is exactly what he claimed to have in June 2011 when he was asked about his health.

Turned out he had meant to say bilharzia, had just gotten mixed up and would only remember it on the podium of the vuelta 3 months later.
Check, mate.

Too sick to ride Liege but in form 5 days later? When will UCI ever learn to test riders?

Threshollddopper.

What are the w/kg for the winner today - I'd be interested to see estimations of that.
Then start a thread about Spilak, and dig up the numbers yourself. Asking other people to do your heavy lifting is pretty lazy.

How are those calculations made? ie do we know what CFs weight is? Without it any calcs are just speculation / meaningless.
Not to mention that he probably had a tailwind and Horner would have beaten him.

Bull**** is it - people on here are posting about CFs watts (or at least quoting them) and implying they are supernatural. He didnt win today - so at least post the same for the other guy.

Its a fair discussion / argument because people often see a performance and say its unbelievable. To be able to say that you should post a comparison.

And before you rail at me as a 'skybot' or whatever is the latest term - I'm just trying to get unbiased info (which I know is difficult on a forum). I may be 'new' (as someone else put it) but that doesn't mean you can treat me with disdain for perfectly normal posts like this.

Seems like the brigade got reinforcements in April. Must be a necromancer in their party.
I was hoping Froome had become so ridiculous that the skybot interns wouldnt have any more material..

I havent a clue what you are on about but I see W/KG quoted on here for CF and I'd just like to know how that was done based on the fact that one unknown is the KG. At the same time why not look at who else was with him and do the same calcs. Thats fair isnt it?

I can read - its Froome, but the comparison has been made therefore provide the numbers and the analysis.
You made the comparison, so you provide the numbers and analysis...in a Spilak thread.

But you won't last that long BPC. I've already reported you.

Well I didnt really make a comparison other than to say that CF didnt win and that people were questioning his performance.

And I have no idea what you are on about with BPC and why you have 'already reported me'. Can you explain / expand?

You never do.

You've moved from complaining about being attacked as a newbie to some very aggressive and pointed (and seemingly agenda-driven) posting.

One thing I forgot to mention as I was giving you the background on why some posters get a (semi) rude response when they come on board asking certain questions is that we've had a lot of banned posters come back with new user names and repeat their former agenda after a brief, if fake, introduction.

Of course creating a sock-puppet account after a ban is 100% grounds for a perma-ban for that person, so it usually gets cleared up pretty quickly.

I've googled it. British Poultry Council.

Or Bahamas Petroleum Company.
Or maybe Belgian Poker Challenge?
British Pest Control Association?
BPC the ventilation and draught proof Specialists?

British Peanut Council? (No, really. There is actually one)

Ahh..Going to try Urban Dictionary

It'll probably turn out to be something involving poo and clingfilm

Apologies if i came across as aggressive, not intended - more frustrated i would say.

The posts were querying CFs performance (fair enough) and quoting figures but at the same time not mentioning the winner who no doubt posted the same figures (assuming the same weight). I don't think it is off topic / outrageous to query what might be there for rider comparison.

As for your last point - never heard of a 'sock puppet' before (but could guess what it meant) so looked it up. I'm not one - and not BPC whatever that means.

Spilak came over the top of the climb on the same time as Froome so his W/kg figure must have been roughly the same, assuming they both started the climb from a similar position within the peloton. Happy now?

Of course, I haven't seen anyone defend Spilak. No one has accused him directly, that might be true, but that's because he's not very important.
