That's torelli's site
Notice the top banner. "McGann Puhlishing's bike race info". Bill and Carol McGann, aka Torelli

Ah I simply did not know, hence I gave the link. The insider name Torelli sticks out a bit less than the site name itself :)

So why hasn't Froome ever top-10'ed a flat prologue?

I just checked his results for all short ITT's on cq ranking and they are actually ok ... all after the "transformation" though.

2013
4th in Crit Internation @2 seconds
6th in Tirreno (was stage 7 but winning time was 10"25) @15 seconds
1st in Romandie (hilly from what I remember though)

2011
4th in Bejing @26 seconds

I don't think he's competed in too many prologues recently ... they're not very common, tours going for road racing stage 1 now

Cant you just link them then?
I mean why are you deliberately removing the names of riders and the races? What is there possibly to hide in this information that you are trying to prove a point with?
I wondered if anyone would be able to guess the TdF. I am also waiting for the explanation of that suspicious spread pre-epo.

In other words, much ado about nothing. It 8 seconds in a ten km TT. Indeed it's just as strange that all these people had the same time :D

There's got to be a first time? Again, considering his prowess in long TT's this is simply to be expected. And he's transformed about two years, so here we have his first short TT classification. We can expect more and that's just basic statistics.

Name a top level TT specialist who never win a Prologue or ended really close. It's bound he gets a few more.

And before anyone starts, that holds true before and after epo. A TT specialist almost always does well in both short and long events. Surely there will be exceptions (Mottet???), but generally someone who is able to win a long TT will finish short in a prologue somewhere along the line.

I don't understand the evasiveness about the specifics.

Ahh okay. The years were 1989 and 1976. I'm not going to recheck unless you really want but in the Hinault years there's another one just like that.

Tony Martin comes to mind, but I would need to recheck

Well, no, but last time was 2008 when he won an under 10k TT

Contador second and he was taking it easy on the second part (Apparently). Besides when did Alberto start doing so well in prologues. Seems like he had a good result?

He won the prologue in 2010 Dauphine as well, if I'm not mistaken
Again, after his first Tour win. So not that different to what Froome has done here.

Neither should be winning prologues yet many poster here find it acceptable for Contador to do well and not Froome.

If you support someone that dopes then don't complain when they themselves are beaten by a doper.

Edit. That last part is not aimed at you specifcally infeXio.

Obivously. What year was this. Must be after his first Tour win?

Edit. 2009 if Wiggins is at Garmin.

So anything prior to him winning the Tour?

Contador was clean in 2009. And he has many other good prologue results as well.

Meanwhile.. Dawg would struggle to get in the top 100 on a good day.
