Over 10 ks? When the rest of the top ten separated by 5 seconds? And Froome (even in his current guise) being a mediocre prologue rider? i'd say it's pretty bad.

Well, now color me jaded, but I have seen bigger gaps on shorter prologues. Just look at the TdF for example. Sorry, 8 seconds in 10km is surprisingly little.

There were few straights to generate gaps in. The result is 2nd to 21st covered by that same gap

The gaps and thus the spread probably would have been bigger without the wind change.

You guys can check my posting history, I'm hardly naive or a Froome/Sky fan. But Froome winning a ten km TT by 10 seconds is just business as usual. The guy is currently the best TT specialist after Wiggo/Canc and Tony Martin....

Seriously, what did you guys expect? Any different outcome would have shocked me.

But Contador didn't win. He was trounced. A convicted cheat is losing a second per kilometre to 'your man'. How do you explain that?

Less than a second a KM haha yeah trounced i wonder if that will mean we see about a min in TDF ITT i wonder what you will say then last year Contador lost way more in bigger ITT's. Sure Froome's engine will probaly be better in the TDF which will probably mean 1;30 gap roughly nothing wrong with that.

And yes it is very debatable he is clean, that does not stop the hypocrisy on this forum you hate someone who you think is a doper and love the dirty one please explain to me why? As it is rather amusing seeing La Flo get butthurt as her man can't hold a candle to the greatest, how bad is that. "I want him to get caught aswell" Be careful what you wish for it maybe you're man getting caught? And then what will you be like with no AC cycling again.

No excues now you have de Jongh now im sure he as given AC alot of tips, if you cant beat em join em as they say.

If this TT were normal I might buy that, but it was extremely technical

I'm not shocked. It's just further confirmation that there are two speeds in the peloton: one race for Froome, and another for everyone else. I do want to know how the hell he is putting out that much TT power when he's so skinny.

The gap from Froome to the second compare to the gaps from 2nd to 3rd and onwards is hilarious and yet another damning data point.

If things continue at this rate, eve people like tank and jimmy might start suspecting Froome might be on less than pan and agua by the 2016 Tour

Let's wait and see. As I said, the gap is MUCH smaller than I expected, which tells me AC is really, really strong. Remember, he hasn't been close in a TT in many years. Last year AC got indeed trounced , so obviously the gap is smaller right now.

AC 8 seconds from the best TT specialist of that field is pretty shocking.

Froome is a great TTer. This however was on the border between a TT and a Prologue-and he's never been great at Prologues. Froome is much stronger himself than last year.

Don't you think Contador was really improved today? Contador last year would lose 20 seconds. I again will repeat their is a 99%chance he is a doper imo, spo good try buddy.

You lot are so full of yourselfes look back at you're mud slinging and then look at who you support it is ammusing. As i said i am only calling people out as hypocrites. You no aswell as me, the gap was reversed the Contaodor thread would not generate half as much response it really is hypocritical imo.

To cooll everyone down a bit: A blast from the past with censored names. And mind that was just picking a random TdF prologue.

1: 9min 54sec
2 @ 6sec
3 s.t.
4 s.t.
5 @ 8sec
6 @ 9sec
7 @ 10sec
8 s.t.
9 s.t.
10 s.t.

Are we going to argue that the winner was from a different planet? And yeah, the winner was on the best GT riders of those years. I wonder who's the first to find the year :D

And yeah some more digging gave me another spread like that just a few years earlier, so it's not extremely rare.
