So in fact Froome has a medical waiver for this use? Dont 80% of pro riders have asthma? ;)

Question for Froome: Why has exercise induced asthma never been a problem for you in cold weather?

Guys do you think he is wrong for the inhaler? It did look very dodgy did'nt it.

I've never seen him use the inhaler before.

And he's been on TV for many, many hours. During and after strenuous efforts.

Well its defo wierd that Froome has been racing for years as well as written an autobiography and this was the first time it came to light.
Who was the last top rider you remember using an inhaler with 20 k to go?

i always thought it dodgy when a local guy would pull one out crunch time at our local training crit ..

Ya think Walsh saw him pull out that inhaler during their time together? Perhaps asked, what's that?

Just too much in love to care.

I think the real shock is his agreeing that that book reflects his character. I wouldn't want that to reflect my character.

Wormy, underfed, asthmatic... The more I learn about him, the more I'm asking myself what kind of sport can have this kind of champion.

But even though he gets a secret puff of oxygen, is that really all it takes to become the Eliminator?

That can hardly be be the magic formula.

And none of you saw it this time either. You had to have it pointed out to you by someone on twitter.

OK, I'd like to refine my earlier post. This is the first time in 30 years of watching cycling it's been pointed out to me that a rider was recorded live using an inhaler during a race. Jeez.

This isnt even in the top 100 of suspicious things about the Dawg.

Not sure why people care so much.

You are absolutely correct but missed the point I think. If Froome has Asthma and regularly has to take an inhaler, why is this not covered in the book? Of course maybe it is, I haven't read it. Gooner, assuming you have, given your dismissive post can you confirm what pages we go to?

You have to admit. They do love each other don't they? You can see it. Walsh wrote what amounted to a very long love note.

Chris loves David. David loves Chris.

It's beautiful to watch. Just don't mention the asthma.

because this is the thing people can see. Most people will think the sport is spotless when they did not see anything

same reason Lance has so many fans, some people just have to believe there is a miracle or a legend.

That's because it's just an inhaler. It's not notable. Apart from a handful of obsessives who are desperate for a doping scandal no-one gives a crap.

Yep, but at least Lance made it look good. But never quite got the mad sitting down 10000 revs a second attack* thing Froome has perfected (*just before his puff on that inhaler thingy:rolleyes:
