And then there's the forum for building up to and coming down from each event which must add up to a further 100+ days to keep your head solely focused on cycling.
And.

And using the logic of the above (very paraphrased just to shorten my post) statement. The constant disagreements in these forums mean two things.

1. Everyone here must always be right, and
2. Everyone here must be a great thinker and writer

The Forum is making geniuses of us all, can't be wrong, that's coming from the great Oscar Wilde :D (. . .with the assistance of The Hitch).

Go have a beer, relax. Its funny entertainment. No great thinking involved

Gassing up isn't cheap: According to AAA, we're now paying a nationwide average of $2.73 for a gallon of regular. That's about 25 cents a gallon more than last year. But it's certainly better than the year before, when prices shot up to over $4/gallon. But if the cost of gas bothers you, be happy you do or don't live in ....

The World's Highest Gas Prices:

1. Asmara, Eritrea — $9.59/gallon
2. Oslo, Norway — $7.41/gallon
3. Copenhagen, Denmark — $6.89/gallon
4. Hong Kong — $6.87/gallon
5. Monaco, Monte Carlo — $6.82/gallon

The World's Lowest Gas Prices:

1. Caracas, Venezuela — 6 cents/gallon
2. Tehran, Iran — 32 cents/gallon
3. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — 45 cents/gallon
4. Kuwait, City, Kuwait — 85 cents/gallon
5. Cairo, Egypt — $1.17/gallon

So here we have a homogeneous product — pretty much the same in Caracas as it is in Asmara — ranging in price from 6 cents to nearly $10 a gallon. Read more: http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/110417/motorists-dream-gas-at-6-cents-a-gallon?mod=family-autos

price per gallon complaints..what about frozen yogurt? I went out last night and got a medium with fresh fruit and it was almost 7 dollars!! Could not have been more than 12-16 oz serving. Gas prices are important but the government has to do something about this yogurt price crisis

Came back from vacation to have the dryer die and now the cat is sick.

can't you go to the doctor and tell them of your stress and have them authorize one of those awesome German cure parks. Mineral baths and mud packs with a steam room..maybe you can bring your cat. Bad Salzschlirf..you can Mt Bike up in the Rhon and eat some trout with roasted almonds.

ooh, that sounds cool. Unfortunately I have to work to pay the cat's doctor's bills. My husband thinks he can fix the dryer, though.

Hallo Susan

Kranke Katze ist immer schecht. Aber Glückskatze bleibt Glückskatze.
Wünsch ihr gut Besserung von mir. :)

Never trust a husband who says that he can fix the dryer.
Ist bestimmt nur ein Sieb, Filter oder sowas.

Gruss aus Dschörmenie

Sie ist tatsächlich eine Glückskatze! Das schlimmste in moment ist das sie nicht nach draussen darf.......

My husband started his career as an electrician, so he might really be able to fix the dryer. He found the problem, a burned out something-or-other. Of course replacing it may be as expensive as a whole new machine!

Why are there hardly any job openings for me, and if there are you need to have at least 5 or 10 years experience. And they are @nal about the experience.

How do they expect me to get experience if there is nowhere where I can get any experience :mad::mad:

Some things never change and are universal. I remember my dad saying, when my brother and I graduated from college and complained about the same thing, "You can't get a job without experience and you can't get experience without a job."

Why do Easterners wear socks and sandals and still have mullets?

This deserves its own thread. I wouldn't even put it just to easterner's, why do people feel the need to do this in general.

I work as a boatbuilder, money is ok ($19.29 p/h), but I must admit, I do come across people who are thicker then a door post. I went to pick up a 25kg tin of bog, and to which the n00b that I'm training up, asked me if it weighted a tonne. Errr no, it weights 25kg.

Let me just say that I absolutely hate having to shave every morning. I'm taking a break and growing a beard for the whole winter.
