(I almost felt sorry for the dutch for a while before I remembered they still have a ridiculous amount of talents with guys like TGBM, Poels, Kruiswijk and Keldermann. Perhaps at least one of those has the ability to stay on his bike)

As long as he stays up, Gesink is still a better rider than Mollema, so I doubt they will do that. One thing for sure, it will be hard for Gesink to do a worse year next season.

Any news on the severity of the fracture? Upper leg injuries can be tough to come back from and require a lot of rehabilitation work. I hope he'll be able to recover well and fit in a properly enjoyable off season.
