If he's still hampered by the virus in training I doubt he will ever be competitive again...
He needs the miles in his legs for the Tour, he already rode too few races last year.
At his age it's often hard to come back from these kind of injuries, unless you're Vino ofc ;)
But I wish him luck with the virus, I hope he can race at least one good season before he retires.

I would not go that far although it is still rather concerning that the virus is still a bit of a worry.

I hope he's bluffing.

If he hasn't managed to shake the virus during the off season, what hope does he have of being at his best in July.

Sounds more like what Rogers had before. Glandular Fever which often keeps returning when sportsmen reach their competitive level of fitness again. Sinus issues Evans had last year and if they were that bad I'm surprised he did not have an operation like Contador did. Anyway he does not need any further interruptions this year. Most fans would like to see him at the Tour with better form than last year.

Those Columbians needs a body guard when they're out training, been hearing about this for years makes you wonder what happens to any up and coming rider who is not a Pro yet, do they have the same issues?

People are so ignorant about situations in other countries, it's disturbing.

Like people thinking that you can't walk on the sidewalks in Caracas because you will be shot. It's all bull****.

Sure, there is some violence, but that's mainly limited to drugs militia and certain remote areas.

Sagan arrested in Los Angeles area?

Colombia is one of the most dangerous countries to live in.

Other than shooting Scarponi, De Gendt, Hesjedal, Rodriguez, Froome and Wiggins I don't see what Szmyd could have done to help Nibali and Basso.

lol, yeah Wiggins and Froome were untouchable in the Tour. Basso's own performance in the Giro was borderline embarrassing, if he had a train like Sky the captain himself would have been dropped on the climbs. Prepare for a response in this years Giro.

He better improves last year's performance. It cost Basso a Giro podium and Nibali a TdF victory.

What are you on about  What the actual hell ...

Anyway, Durbridge had a bad fall today. Wonder how much that effects him for the TT.
