mpcc is one of the biggest jokes ever in pro cycling.if garmin can ride, anybody can ride. ricky ricco can ride.
hope delfino can ride, he would be a huge favourite.

mpcc is about riders in a team who have admitted to being wrong.. still the mpcc is a joke with teams like lampre

they will prepare in order to peak tremendously.
there is nothing more important than to win il mondiale at home for the italians
basso?i really can't see it,he couldn't win lombardia in 2004 in one of the most impressive form a rider can be.but he definitely can kill on the climb for his collegues.

killer?he talked about the worlds as his only dream never accomplished. he was supposed to be leader at mendrisio...:( a race like this,so long and so tough....perfect for him. but he won't be the leader i guess

scarponi?in sanremo 2011 form he would easily be one of the favourites for the worlds. somehow unfortunately he seems to become a softy...

pellizotti?in my opinion, after the big show i witnessed at nationals race last year, him, together with nibali will be italy's leaders.

rebellin?if he goes well,he will be brought in a support role of course. his training regime is impressive but i really doubt he will have what it takes for 270 km.

anyway,we can definitely say that the days of italia as a loser team like in the last few years has ended.
there is no doubt in my mind that with the home turf advantage, the italians will have the strongest team at the worlds, better than belgium and better than spain

Wow, that makes complete no sense at all. You cannot throw a team out of the WT for ethical reasons and then grant them a license for Pro Conti. That makes ethics in Pro Conti look really bad.

The UCI just did this to set an example as how they can refuse handing out a license to less reliable teams, maybe to point out that the ethical standards are considered too when it comes to WT-licenses. They didn't want to punish Katusha that hard by just practilly forcing them to quit cycling, the UCI doesn't normally act like that.
