He finished 41st in AGR this year, didnt he?
Yes he did. But he didn't figure in the finale, because he'd already been dropped. I'm sure he will be able to compete in the future, but I'd give Gesink much more of a chance to win the AGR in the future, even if his sprint is not that great. After all, neither is Fränk Schleck's.

Big Mig's 15 year old son has now decided to start cycling and race as well. Of course if he becomes half decent, he can probably expect a pro contract thrown his way, and the usual will follow with all great sportspeople and their off spring who make it in their respective sport.

Bit early to conclude that since it's only Kreders first year.

And even then, results they have a lot, but Bettini and Valverde never won AGR, even though they look tailor made for the race....

So don't pin anyone on it, its a weird classic.

Team Saxo's ipads

They are all listening to Tiesto (O'Grady has taken responsibility for that) with the exception of Jens Voight (Roxette, Abba) and the odd one out, Matti Breschel who's listening to Pantera.

So that's todays useless information.

Horrible! people call that music rubbish. I am surprised an old guy like ogrady would listen to that stuff. Alll those DJ's do is turn the a few knobs around and think they are awesome.

Here is the specialised commercial that a few people have been talking about. I thought it was pretty funny:

http://iamspecialized.com/video/new...-featuring-andy-schleck-and-alberto-contador-

First time that Contador has spoken in English on TV?

EDIT: Paul Sherwin claimed that on August 1, Jean-René Bernaudeau (Bbox Bouygues Telecom team manager) will announce a new title sponsor that will sign a five agreement. Does anybody know if this is true, and what company this could be?

Haussler renouncing his German citizenship. Another blow to German cycling.

As an Aussie, I am very happy about his decision. I was hoping he would do it after the 2009 tour de France as there was talk back then but I thought I read he changed his mind??

According to danish paper Ekstra Bladet, Team Sky and Rabobank among others have offered a contract to Matti Breschel.

"We have to main goals for the season, the classics and Tour de France. Matti Breschel is a young rider who has already got very good results in the spring, and he is definitely an interesting rider." said Adri Van Houwelingen, Rabobank.

In the article Breschel said he wanted Riis to get a chance to match the offers.

Is it me or is Fabian Cancellara's English better then Mark Cavendish's? I've met loads of people from Norway, Sweden, Netherlands in the last few years I would rate their command of the English language better then Cav's.
