Terrific performance so far in Catalunya by Lennert Van Eetvelt. Ciabatta and Lenny are heavily hyped (with good reason) but I feel like this guy is a little under the radar in terms of neo pro climbers.

I'm not sure there are enough WT spots available for all the riders you believe have the potential/ability
But I did notice Pesenti last year, and I think he might deserve to be picked up by one of the Italian ProTeams.
Groupama‘s Lewis Askey is 21, became 25th in Roubaix last Sunday, and finished 16th in Paris-Camembert yesterday (two days after Roubaix). That is quite impressive, IMHO… Someone to watch over the next years.
I've had him on my list to watch since u-23 WC in 2021.

His current team is Taurus Cycling: promising team, which wants to become CT (when they even reach PCT level, they could ride TdS and Romandie)…

Of course he has every right to return once his ban ended, but I can definitely see how it can feel a bit wrong that he was able to get a contract this quickly, while other riders struggle.
