From the article it seems like he has some broken bones in his face that require no movement to fix so that‘s why he‘s in the coma. Also, he could get lost in the rainforest and the news would come quicker than from Poland. And the Tour de Pologne is obviously afflicted by some Voodoo curse.

No matter how induced it is, it's been several days.

Maybe they don't want to say much more until he recovers. But it's worrying that he's still in a coma.
