It seems the organisers of Gent Wevelgem have given up on trying to make the race more descisive hence why the route seems to be easier this year.

Who's Benatti? New talent or something?

(sorry I really hate those mistakes. Just like in the past with Rebellin, Bettini and Petacchi who were often spelled wrong as Rebbelin, Betinni and Pettachi. Horrible!)

You hate them even though your English is far from perfect?

Boonen is undoubtedly the favourite, it is OPQS to lose.

They have 5 sprinters in the race: Trentin, Boonen, Chicchi, Ciolek and Steegmans- enough to form two lead out trains. Bonnen could maybe even gift the win to one of them- though he should not have to and will not. I would love to see if up the Kemmelberg ( if Cav is somehow still there ) if Boonen just rips up again to get rid of him/ other sprinters.

Other favourites include Greipel ( no Hansen though- which is a pity ), Demare, Goss ( who i think should be able to contest this ), Hushovd ( i think he could be a rider that might just break through here ), Freire ( who will want to avenge his narrow loss ), Farrar ( who deserves a big win- sometime soon ), Breschel, Sagan, Pozzato, Degenkolb and of course Cancellara who could do anything he wants- so basically all the sprinters that are here.

Duque could go well i think too- he placed well at E3.

yeah, but then it was good to see his reaction after crossing the finish line. Couln't quite figure out if he was happy, surprised or both.

Speaking English perfectly has nothing to do with spelling Italian names. I am utterly flabbergasted by the stupidity of your comment:p. Btw, I actually do like the language
You must have misinterpreted my post. Picking up on a very minor spelling error really gets on my nerves considering that the same person makes some spelling and grammar mistakes when typing in English. Just thought that comment was unnecessary. No big deal.

Still much better than your Dutch

Of course, I don't doubt that.

I rarely make mistakes in my English and I dare to say my spelling and grammar are better than a lot of native English posters on this forum.
Spelling errors in names are simply very sloppy.

Cavendish 2nd favourite? I know there's a lot of animosity for him in this forum, but realistically: is this based on facts in any way or is it just British fans pushing the odds down?

OPQS Will make Cavs life hell on the cobbled hills.

I wasn't having a go at your English per se but just about you picking the error up which to me came across as a little nasty. I may have misinterpreted this as you seem to have meant it as a joke. Your English is very very good especially for someone who is not a native speaker.

It is not a big deal so I think we can all move on.
