So they say. Personally I won't believe it until next May.
If he will, kudos to him.

If that article is right then whats up with his promise to work for Froome, as a small thank you for everything that froome has done for him in his last 2 gts.

Sacrificing a chance to win the Tour is extremely rare, expecially if it's possible that the competition will be quite a lot stronger in the next years and you don't know if you'll ever get that chance again.

With Sky's ridiculously strong line-up for next year they'd be crazy to send Froome and Wiggings to the same GT. Froome will probably have the Colombians and Porte to help him while Wiggins would still be left with Cataldo and Rodgers or something. And there's Dombrowski and JTL too. I very much doubt we'll see Wiggins and Froome at the same GT again

So, no mountain stages that end downhill it seems?
No major mountain stages ending downhill, that's quite sure.
In the first week there could be a couple of hilly descent finish though.

it is the same i got.
the itt in saltara will be 50 km
stage 19 will finish at lake giovaretto at 1800mt, not on top of the climb (2051)
in stage 20 there are rumours they will do s. pellegrino instead of fedaia, in order to avoid the descent of fedaia itself that it is very steep ( capanna bill malga ciapela i overcame 100km/h) and so considered dangerous. better like that.

sunday we will see

Saltara should be 52 kms, exactly.
Stage 19 should finish at the lake, true that. They quit the final wall (not a bad cut, if someone wants to attack he'll have to do at more than 3 to go)

And I do hope for S.Pellegrino or better Pordoi instead of Fedaia.

Coming from the south, they could do Fedaia then Pordoi?

But Fedaia would be too early to see it on TV I guess, defeats the purpose!

It's also extremely rare for a leader to have someone like Froome on his team. I'll bet he has it in his contract that he can ride the Tour.

I don't think their schedules will overlap too much next year. :D

Silandro start sounds good, guarantees a 200km stage.

I do not know what to make of the route. The early TT will be good but it's still back-loaded like crazy, unless one or two of the "hilly" stages are monument length.

Hopefully the climbers will not wait till the final week and will do some attacking in the 3 Mountains stages in the 2nd week.
