decent Teejay

He is not a bad time trialist (other than crashing often) but even a good result today will not fix all the other issues, therefore, his today's result is meaningless

Gaviria crashed after 3 km but continued his TT...

Why are there so many crashes today? Is it raining?
High speed, stiff rims, bad surface here and there...
Normal for a technical tt.
Also, winds hitting over 20kph at Montefalco. Always rough on disks and TT bikes. Even rougher if you weigh 120lbs. Nairo will struggle lose 3sec/km methinks. /predicting

Quintana in pink... wait... no pink boots? where's the pink flamingo?
Stating his intent. He's not planning on keeping it.

Dumoulin may have to break 51 minutes to have a good chance of getting significant time gaps against the other contenders... I don't know whether he has that in him anymore.

We may see a reverse Tony Martin transformation here, from killer time trialist to fringe GC contender and good-but-not-great time trialist.

According to the riders who finished: tailwind on the first part and headwind in the last 10 kms. #Giro100

I really hope that's not true!

sounds just like the Kippen flats

Bet they don't have Rhubarb Lime though! :D
I never stop there, its either half way up the climb or we are flying down the descent and don't want to stop as the tailwind can be too good...when the sun is out  the benches outside look an amazing place for a bite and a drink
