Richeze did nothing wrong. It was Ewan who tried to jump through a gap that wasn't there.

Yep. I'm usually the first to say someone should be relegated, but there was nothing to penalize there.
It's not easy to make the right decision when you're turning yourself inside out to sprint, and Ewan made the wrong one. Try again next time.

Ewan blocked by QuickStep. Can´t beat him in a sprint, let your leadout man block him
Really don't think he was. Ewan moved to the right and expected that Richeze would move and slow down for him, but there was no space on his right as Gaviria was coming round. Evans just positioned himself badly as Selig just went in front of him right when Ewan was about to start sprinting.

That shouldn't be possible.
Had to bridge a big gap to a large group of sprinters who were going full gas, get past them, and beat the ones at the front. Amazing.

Richeze did nothing wrong. It was Ewan who tried to jump through a gap that wasn't there.

Yeah it looked like Ewan tried to force his way out, his positioning has been hit and miss but you also need some luck but the form Gaviria is in I'm not sure it would have made much difference.

Richezze held his line and Ewan ran into him.

He kept looking at Ewan then moved into him when he was about to kick. Richeze should be thrown off the race.

He was watching him and leaned when he seen he was coming into him. Its how you don't crash when someone makes a stupid move in a race.

Easily the best sprinter in this race and, I'd say, probably the best in the world as he is more versatile than Kittel who is the only one with higher top-speed.
Please, please, please. Enough of this nonsense.

Yes, he's a very good sprinter. But let him develop further as a rider.
Its not nonsense at all.Who is better? Cav is sick. He easily beats Greipel. As I said, only Kittel is faster. But you will probably come up with Bouhanni or Demare.

I think they are going to play the Gaviria card a couple of times in the tour too. Would be stupid if they don't.

Cavendish is still faster I'd say (when not with mono) and Greipel in a straight line is probably faster. Unfortunately for him Giro sprints are twisty.

I believe he won't go to the tour.

The national card you're using is very poor.

As I said, Gaviria is a very good sprinter. But calling him "best sprinter in the world" is nonsense (in my opinion) because he still has to prove it on the biggest stage, when you expect top sprinters to battle it out.

You really think Greipel is faster? I don't... and even if he is, he is often too hesitant and/or scared. And thats obviously also a big part in sprinting.

Cav, I dno. Maybe he is faster.

But why is it nonsense? Even if he can develop further, he is already the best sprinter at the moment.

Your comment reminds me Cédric Vasseur, when he was saying last year on TV that Diego Ulissi was the best puncheur in the world in the month of May.

I said probably the best sprinter as he he is able to do much more than your traditional sprinter. I've seen enough so far.

Cavendish is defintely the most versatile sprinter, he can go long, short, uphill, flat, corners, straight, he's done it all. Gaviria reminds me a little bit of McEwen, although their styles are very different, but in that their greatest asset is a tremendous inital acceleration.
