Wow!!! Landa gets his win; boy did he work for that!

Narito in Pink, 4 guys within a minute and a mountain stage and TT to sort it out.

Geez I Love this sport and the Giro always delivers!

Horrible to see Nairo gets rewarded by racing so negatively.

Bad shape or not.
I think that's harsh. The other side of the same coin is that he's putting in an amazing battling performance to haul himself into pink, despite not having the legs.

Sitting on Nibalis wheel to gap him at the end? Meh, not interested in that style.
Well, sure it's not that great to watch. But Quintana is in the driving seat between those two, it's Nibali who probably needs to take a bit of time on him still, not the other way round.

Although, given how spent Quintana has looked these last two days, he could still lose a lot of time to Pinot or Nibali in the TT.

Wow, Dumoulin looked absolutely spent there at the finish, so much so I'm now worried for his overall chances. That said Quintana is struggling with his climbing as well and just can't sustain an attack. It's been an attritional Giro and isn't over yet. It certainly leaves it a lot more intersting.

By my reckoning Quintana would need at least 1 minute on Dumoulin and Nibali the same tomorrow to stand any chance with the TT to come. Still think Dumoulin will hang on but looking at him struggle on the last climb I'd be a lot less confident now. Would be cruel on Dumoulin to lose it now.

It's getting interesting. Seconds might decide in Milan.

Also Landa finally with impressive win.

Also Jan Hirt up there with top climbers. This guys proves he is great talent with exciting prospects.

I think Nibali and Quintana are about on par in TT. Either one would need at least 90 seconds on TD if stage 10 is any indication.

He could follow all of Nib's acceleration. Then you can at least try something. Or just taking the responsibility of the race and let Rojas ride full tempo in that last 5 km.

He could have gapped Dumoulin even more if he didn't play those stupid mind games with Nibali and co.

Now he needs to take care of Pinot also, who is in better shape and is a superior timetrialist. And Nairo surely doesn't have the legs atm to attack and put the others on the rope.

Cassani: "nibali more head than legs"

Quintana was as always inexplicable
Think Quintana was easy to explain. He just doesn't have the legs at the moment to do anything but follow.

He also burnt all his domestiques earlier in the day and was very isolated at one point, just to try to get that highly ambitious split to stay away. So his tactics are aggressive - just as they were the last few days - his legs can't carry them out though.

At the end of the day, he is in the race lead, so he's doing something right.
