Seems like everyone has already surrendered the Giro to TD. No action at all!

Such an exciting stage

So there was 40km of extreme hard racing in which the gc leader almost got shelled and its still boring.
What do you want to happen at this stage of the stage?

We had an action packed section of racing earlier where Dumoulin could have lost the Giro. They aren't going to just ride away from him on the flat now he's caught up. IF they try they will just hurt themselves on the final steep climb. The only hope for Nibali and Quintana is that the chase back on has weakened Dumoulin and he cracks on the climb.

My hope as well :)

The most weakened rider after the "havoc" is Quintana above all.

Sorta predictable with _/\_______/ kind of routes.
As you said, sorta. It was fairly close to being rather epic. If the GPS gaps were right, and Yatesy wasn't really itching for another white jersey (not that I blame him, he was riding his race) we might've gotten it.

Wtf happened, also does anyone have a stream?
Movi/bahrain attempted a formigal syle raid when Dumoulin was hanging near the back of the bunch, only to have the dutch riders form a coalition with orica to bring it all back together.

I guess that coalition can be made dutch, but If mollema and kruijswijk were upfront with Pinot and zakarin in the Dumoulin group it wouldve been a aussie/russian/french/dutch coalition?
It was in all of their interests obviously.

It's the fault of the organisers. They should have turned north after Tolmezzo and Sella Chianzutan, then finish on Zoncolan.

I'd rather have a better designed route for the 100th Giro instead of the crap they did.

Today's attack was stupid, because with such an enormous amount of flat kms after the mountains, the differences would have been annulled.

I expect lots of action in the break. If they stay together, they will be handing the victory to Rui Costa or to Sanchez
