Arensman about as useful as a c*ck flavoured lolliop
I'm very sorry To be fair to the lad he was actually good today, just didn't fancy following that Pogacar attack.I don't know what to do with this...
After today he better get dropped on purpose every MTF and win the giro with 30 seconds.
But he’s honoring pink Contador today.
My bad spelling it's obviously genetic, my dad is a big gerant Thomas fan and he was texting me this afternoon asking why 'arundsman' was not riding for his leader. You sure you didn't mean Aren-semen?
Exactly. Climbing in the drops is either sacrilege or Landismo, and this was no Landismo
Tell me when does Pogacar attack when he is versus a top Vingegaard?
This is pure *** eating arrogance
O’Connor and Martinez are no slouches either. Experienced and proven at this level as well.People need to get a grip with the 'worst field ever'. In 2015, Contador had to beat an unknown Basque climber in Landa who had never been near his level of that race, an Italian hopeful in Aru who had broken through the year before, and then Amador and Trofimov were next in line. Lol.
Pogacar is wiping the floor with a Tour winner.
They are really a weak field.Honestly they are like the third division of best GT riders.O’Connor and Martinez are no slouches either. Experienced and proven at this level as well.
Bardet is going great this season. Got a few GTs under his belt too.
A few of young guys Tiberi, Arensman and Cian (shame he had to drop out, would have been good to have him in the race).
It is not terrible at all.
Pog is just that much better and as you say wiping the floor with them.
They arent as weak though as people will make it seem.
Yawn. They are really bad. Honestly they are like the third division of best GT riders.
Thomas is getting old and way worse than last year, Martinez is a domestique, then guys like Zana, Rubio or Hirt in the Top 10.....
There's not anybody even from the "second division" of best GT riders like Hindley, Carapaz, Mas, Tao hart, Gall, Carlos Rodriguez.
Obviously "first division" (Vingegaard, Pogacar, and then Roglic and Remco).
Spandelles was basically last minute if he wanted to win the Tour. Given the situation he hadnt been very aggressive at all.All the time?
What the *** are you even on about?
Spandelles? Multiple Tour stages where he attacked in the first 20 kms. I mean, literally, what the ***...

There's just not much truth to the theory that Pogacar is conservative when he isn't clearly the strongest, the reality is he was just significantly worse than Vingo in both 2022 and 2023.
We know how it goes at this point.Incredible ride. One for the ages. Sadly a few here are in denial.
How so?
Contador dislocated his shoulder. Contador pre crash would smoke both Astana. We saw how strong he was in Abetone, Porte was the only able to follow him and Aru benefited from that.At the end of the day, you can only beat the guys who are there, and perhaps the level will look better in a few years time. That said, Landa and Aru were actually able to challenge Contador in the mountains in a way we haven't seen from Pogačar's competitors in this race (yet), but Contador was of course not at his career peak in 2015 either.

If thats what you wanna see, be my guest.Goalposts will always be moved, and Pogi can never win.
Vingegaard, Roglic, Evenepoel, Bernal, Ayuso, A.Yates, S.Yates, C.Rodriguez, Kuss, Landa, Hindley, Carapaz, Tao, Almeida, Mas.O’Connor and Martinez are no slouches either. Experienced and proven at this level as well.

I agree with you that Pogi is one of the most aggressive riders in the peloton; that he has both made brave moves and showman-moves (compliment!) regularly. He still attacked from far out a lot of times (especially in 2022), sadly Rick closed his eyes every time that happened.
Last year, it was closer for a long time, and it looked like he could win by taking small chunks whereas it was always unlikely he would succeed in dropping Vingegaard from far out.
But alas, Rick is always playing clever and chastising riders for stupid tactics, yet when Pogi (always) races tactically cleverly, he shall be chastised for not attacking. Goalposts will always be moved, and Pogi can never win.

My point is that when Pogacar attacks from far usually theres 0 stakes cause he wins by default in that race anyway.
Essentially hes just kicking down.
Not a surprise, stronger rider on that terrain.Finestre was a case where the stage was so hard a really thin margin blew up to 3 minutes. Like I dont believe that was even Froome at the peak of his powers anymore
Oh and a funny one, do you rememver Valverde pulling back 2 minutes on Cobtador on Fuente De?
