I actually thought Pog might attack here if only to avoid the risk of riding that descent in the bunch. But now that he already attacked today I somehow can't imagine him really attacking for the fourth day in a row.
Theres gonna be attacks and Pog is at least following. Peloton should be lined out completely

I think yesterday had the benefit that a lot of teams tired themselves out cos of the sprinters break. I can't see an attack at the end without that happening as teams are fresher and more together

Do not like that roundabout with 400m to go. Hopefully they use both sides as it's single file for cars on both sides and some nice road signs to boot in the entrance and exit of the roundabout.
(Trying to work out why the ristorante by the roundabout is called Turtle in Spanish ...)

No granata shorts for Pogacar today, UCI ruling. Do the UCI have nothing better to do?

Ominous looking clouds in the background and some riders picking up jackets from team cars, including Merlier and his jazzy new ciclamino jacket. (That really is an awesome color, it's the clearest one you can actually make out from heli shots.)

Funnily enough I think they've been able to fit it in among their other duties.

I don't really see the issue either, it's just to prevent an overlap of the different jerseys in the same way EF had to change theirs. It makes sense.
Did they announce or explain Pog's maroon shorts beforehand? Like many things I probably missed it if they did... I personally didn't mind, but it would have been nice to know the shorts were just a one-day thing as a commemoration to the Torino FC club, just for information's sake. Going back to black shorts makes sense though, as you had mentioned.

A few raindrops on the camera lenses now.

in the pre race interview, Aniolkowski also said that it's a straight road now. The roundabout has been "destroyed"
